Introducing a new, exciting way to learn braille
The thought of picking up braille can be a daunting challenge for prospective learners. There is an endless variety of educational resources to choose from and the commitment involved in learning the braille code can be prohibitive to time-strapped individuals and working parents. UEBPrep offers a modern solution to these problems by presenting braille in a format that can be accessed in the same amount of time that it takes to read an email, send a text message, or read an article online.
The UEBPrep walks users through the process of learning braille by introducing basic concepts like the alphabet and progressively moving towards contractions, wordsigns, and more. Users reinforce course content by moving through interactive exercises including multiple choice questions, reading translations, and fill-in-the-blank problems. Learners can also use a built-in braille keyboard to braille individual words and full sentences, which allows for practical practice and deeper learning in a fun and engaging way. Other features like accessible games and a math curriculum will be released in the future as well!
If you’ve ever struggled to allocate the time necessary to take a class or dive into a braille workbook, UEBPrep is the alternative that you’ve been waiting for. Download the app and start learning with your phone today!
- Added new Crack the Code game
- Added Sign in with Apple

- Improved the overall stability and security of the app
Ratings and Reviews
Firstly this is an amazing app… All the rules and everything! The only thing I could possibly ask is that the alt text descriptions be made accessible to those who are blind and need to know the dot combinations pictured. Thank you!
Developer Response ,
Thank you. Our testing team will begin searching for where this can be enhanced. Thank you for helping us squash this bug. If possible, for fastest response, post these great point outs to http://uebprep.com/feedback.
Also, we are excited to hear more from the community about who they want to see courses and mini-courses from?
Decent Knowledge, Not Ideal Execution
This review addresses some errors/bugs, while aiming to highlight the good of the app.
-awesome extra resources
-no easy bug/error report (requires a special login for their special site on a page that doesn’t exist)
-the end-of-lesson game doesn’t scale with Accessible Text Sizes (they could make larger scaling buttons and slow down the descending text animations but don’t?? Even though there’s a signup option stating the user might be losing vision???)
-sometimes things don’t match up (recently in the Numbers lesson encountered an instance where the Braille said “400,000” but the “correct answer” required saying “444,000” even though dots 1, 4, 5 aren’t dots 2, 4, 5)
This app would MAJORLY be improved by a simple report feature for bugs and errors, and the whole app scaling to your text size. It’s wonderful otherwise but those are so major I can’t rate 4/5.
Great braille resource
Only been using this app for a day, and I leanred a lot! I'm legally blind myself and this is a great way to learn braille. One suggestion : I really love your brailler, it's easy to use one handed. Can you make a separate app or addition so that people can practise writing braille on their own? It would be great if it was possible to also copy braille that we type to paste into text, mail or social media to motivate each other.
