Description

Explore, adapt, and survive in Undawn, a free-to-play open-world survival RPG for mobile and PC developed by LightSpeed Studios and published by Level Infinite. Embark on an adventure with other survivors four years after a worldwide disaster where hordes of infected roam a shattered world. Undawn combines PvP and PvE modes as players fend off dual threats of the infected and other humans as they fight to survive in this apocalyptic wasteland.

SURVIVE YOUR WAY
Become the ultimate endurance expert. Protect your home, allies, and what's left of humanity against overwhelming odds. The seamless open world of Undawn is filled with realistic details, made using Unreal Engine 4. In this world, players must brave rain, heat, snow, and storms and track their character’s survival indicators such as Hunger, Body Type, Vigor, Health, Hydration, and even Mood. Changes in the environment will also affect these survival indicators in real time. Players can customize their character’s appearance and outfits, interact with other players to trade weapons and resources, and fight to protect their resources.

EXPLORE AN EXPANSIVE OPEN WORLD
Dare to explore a huge seamless map filled with distinct terrains such as plains, mines, deserts, swamps, and abandoned cities, each with diverse ecosystems filled with animals, plants, and weather systems. While exploring the remains of society, players can discover special game modes through interactive environmental items, embattled strongholds, and dynamic weekly events and side quests. Players must bravely explore the continent, learning to craft tools, master different weapons, build a shelter, search for survival buddies, and do everything they can to stay alive. The infected can appear anytime as you are exploring and are a huge threat to your continued existence!

REBUILD THE RUINS
Rebuild a new home and a new civilization with the wisdom of humanity – build your base of operations to your specifications and survive on your own or with your friends inside a massive 1-acre manor. The robust free building system allows more than 1,000 types and styles of furniture and structures, as well as ways to grow your settlement over time. Search for other outposts to form alliances and fight back against the infected together to keep your home safe.

SQUAD UP TO SURVIVE
Set yourself up for success as a member of the storied Raven Squad. The raven is traditionally a symbol of death and bad omens but can also stand for prophecy and insight. Your squad lives between these two meanings each day and night. In the new world, four years after the disaster, survivors have split into different factions, each with their own rules of survival. Face off against members of the Clowns, Eagles, Night Owls, and Reivers for territory, and get through some darkest nights for the next sunrise.

ARM YOURSELF FOR THE APOCALYPSE
Protect your home, allies, and what's left of humanity against all odds with a wide variety of weapons and armor for you and your homebase. Beyond the standard weapons, players can also use other tactical gear including melee weapons, drones, decoy bombs, auto turrets and more to level the playing field. Choose from more than 50 types of vehicles for quick supply runs and to conquer new lands, while utilizing tailored-to-environment tactics to dominate the various infected zones found throughout the game.

PLAY YOUR WAY
Expand your world and define your way of survival in the world of Undawn. Discover how you can make the best out of the apocalypse with a variety of game modes and activities to engage in as you rebuild your life. Whether you choose to get competitive in a Grand Prix race, hop into a futuristic mech to bring into battle, or even compose and play your own music in Band mode, the choice is yours to make.

What’s New

Version 1.2.11

I. New Maps!

1. Keen competition at Tungsten Port
Tungsten Port on the West Side is a bustling, even chaotic place. All the characters here have very different stories to tell about their lives before the disaster. Elisia has returned and regained the trust of her father's former henchmen. Now, she is queen of Tungsten Port, though various different factions continue to be locked in competition.

2. An underground world riddled with aberrations
Beneath Tungsten Port is another world shrouded in darkness. The darkness here is everywhere and all-consuming. Like a spider web, it continues to spread and grow in size, cloaking the countless unknown dangers that lie in wait. Both hunter and prey alike are hiding in the darkness, waiting for an opportunity to emerge.

3. Blackwater, the town living in shadows
What used to be a crime-ridden, poverty-stricken area of the city back in the day is now the only place with a power source since the disaster. Winter is coming, and the city's supplies are gradually being depleted. As a result, the various factions, wanderers, and lone-wolf hunters are forced to come here to exchange supplies with each other. Here, only the law of the jungle applies. Any visitor to Blackwater would do well to familiarize themselves with the new rules here.

4. New zombies
The number of aberration invasions has increased at a growing rate ever since what happened at Snowy Mountain, and the creatures that previously hid underground have started to evolve in an even more unchecked manner. You will encounter new types of zombies and aberrations in the dark environs of the underground, so keep your head on a swivel!

II. New Story Content!
The Queen of the Reivers returns
Elisia, the queen of Stygian World, has returned and regained the trust of her father's former minions. Now, with her as the ruler of this area, a new order is in place. Her dominion, her rules.

III. New Firearms!
The EVO Submachine Gun and RPK-16 Light Machine Gun
The new Scorpion EVO Submachine Gun and RPK-16 Light Machine Gun will be debuted along with the unique Threat Detection and Enhanced Firepower talents. Now, you're ready for whatever crisis may come your way in Stygian City!

IV. New Game Mode!
Stygian Restricted Area
An all-new game mode, the Stygian Restricted Area, is coming your way! The Stygian Restricted Area is a fair survival arena slash treasure hunt game mode. The main objective here is to collect supplies and survive long enough to make a successful evacuation.
Here, the rules are different from the rest of the open world, and there are equipment systems you won't find anywhere else. There is also a black market where you can trade resources. Remember, ultimate success or failure is not determined by any single victory or defeat. There's always the opportunity to make a comeback in the future!

V. New Events!
Journey of Darkness
- Stygian Restricted Area (Restricted Area Guide)
The event takes place over four stages which are unlocked one by one. In each stage, complete five missions and earn fantastic rewards for each mission.
Also, get a medal when you complete any three of the five missions in each stage. Collect four medals to get the final reward.
- Gold Rush
The special event item Gold Corbus is yours to take home during the event, but only if you successfully evacuate from the Dark Zone with it! (There is a chance that the Gold Corbus will drop in the Dark Zone.) Run an identification on the Gold Corbus on the event screen and you may get yourself some surprise rewards...

VI. Coming Soon: New Special Ops Challenge
We will continue to work on increasing Special Op content of various types so that players can stay entertained and challenged while earning more great rewards!

Editors’ Notes

Try to survive a zombie apocalypse in this gorgeous open-world action MMO, where you build settlements and wash clothes when not annihilating undead hordes.

One of the better RPGs out there

I went into Undawn with very little expectation. I got to say after playing for about a week it’s really taking me to a whole new appreciation of mobile games. I’ve only recently discovered that it’s PC and mobile cross platform, and I can’t say for the performance of the PC version. But I think the control scheme on the mobile version is excellent. The customization and the features available to mess with are in depth and very satisfying. I don’t think I’ve ever had a personalized gaming control scheme like this before. I definitely see some repetition in the gameplay, however, I think that it is fixed by the absolute plethora of in-game features (base building, farming, crafting, armor upgrades, etc). As a novice mobile gamer I cannot say for much in comparison to other games of this stature. However, I’ve spent over 10,000 hours in MMORPG’s and I can say that this one will definitely have some longevity. There’s something to be said about the micro transactions…..not much positive… but a lot of that can be overlooked by the game itself because it’s just really good to play. A lot of the features are satisfying and I really recommend this to anybody looking for a different experience for RPG’s. It’s a perfect blend between third person shooter, RPG, MMO, sandbox, that I’ve personally seen on mobile. 8/10! Not to mention the character customization 👌🏼🫶🏻

I like it

UPDATE: level 95 now. Silver is impossible to get. You need silver more than you need gold. Honestly. There’s soooo many ways to get gold. But there’s no way to farm silver.
The rewards aren’t balanced at all. We get the same rewards at 95 as we were at like lv 40. But everything needed now is like 5x more than it was at lv 40. You need soooo many armor plates and alloys but so hard to get them unless you just fork up $3 a day doesn’t sound like much but it adds up quick. Idk bout everyone else but on top of all the silver I’m buying with rc I can’t afford $3 a day for that too. In august on my budget calculator I spent $192 on Undawn. All of that was for unbalanced rewards given out. Money should be spent more on outfits and charisma. Make better outfits people wanna buy. Then give us enough rewards to do most everything else.

No complaints really other than severe weather events for supply’s, homestead garden and boss not running every 4 hours for people of all time zones. We can’t maximize the gains because of they run only for 1-2 times a day and usually around 12-1pm central or 6-7pm central daily. If you’re busy at those which most people are you can’t hit the 20 supply cap max which is a huge loss to players. Free supplies are everything. Because who has 4 hours to spend farming supplies. I know I don’t. Everything else is awesome. Add more content for 24 hours too please. I rotate nights and days. If I’m on nights I miss every event.
