Unformat Clipboard solves a wildly known problem with copy and paste on the Mac.

When you copy text from a website or a document the formatting (font, color, style, etc.) of the text also gets copied. When you paste that text into a document like a report or eMail you are writing you manually have to reformat the pasted text in order to fit the formatting of your document.
This takes a lot of time and is pretty annoying if you do it regularly.

The solution is here: Unformat Clipboard does the job for you! And best of all: with a single click or by hitting ⌥⇪C you can activate and deactivate Unformat Clipboard.

Essential! A couple more features would be nice.

1. The ability to change the shortcut (I have abnormally many so maybe not an issue for most).
2. The ability to 'toggle text' back to formatted after copied and unformatted. Basically save the formatted and maybe even the unformatted and toggle them in the clipboard.
Definitely no a deal breakers but these seem useful enough and 'simple enough?' to implement even for a 99¢ app.

not working

Decided to try this app to fix my copy and paste issue with copying single-lined text and pasting it as 1-1/2 lined-spacing. Based on the description, thought this app would fix that issue; but it appears that it has not. Need to work before I can rate it higher than one star. Have submitted an inquiry to their support via their website.
