Unicorn Blocker:Adblock 4+

So far in Safari with the Google, Bing, MSN, and Yahoo news, the ads were being blocked.

Unicorn in Safari helps you paint an ad that escapes its scrutinizing sensor. Then Unicorn makes it disappear. I am hoping it won’t reappear.

Using Google Chrome browser, the ads don’t disappear and I do not know how Unicorn tracks them down nor paint the ads. I don’t see the Unicorn adblocker icon while using Chrome browser.

In Safari, after painting the ads and hitting “Create”, the ad disappears and it hasn’t come back so far. I mostly use Safari than Chrome, so it’s a great adblocker.

I was skeptical to buy this app. The only thing I want to block are overlays/in-page pop-ups requesting your email. I can't stand those things. Ad Block Plus used to block them, but with the new Safari update, the app failed to work. I downloaded Unicorn Blocker and I'm so happy I did. If there's an ad that's still loading, you can use the cleaner feature and easily create your own rules for blocking certain elements. I no longer have anymore overlays and with the cleaner feature, I can say I haven't seen any sponsored content from Outbrain. This is an amazing app!

Unicorn blocks ads, and also has a convenient "cleaner" function that lets you select and block any that still show up. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any way to undo the cleaning if you accidentally block something important, up to and including a complete reinstall of the app. There might be a way to fix it, but the support website is in Korean so I'm still working on it.
