Touch ID missing
Although the app asks if you want Touch ID it does not work on your next sign on because the app does not remember your member ID. Otherwise app seems to work as before.
Does exactly what it says it does.
So, it’s pretty awesome that a regional bank has such a well functioning mobile app. This is the type of app you would expect from a much larger chain of banks. Even when the app was for The Little Bank before the merger, this app gives you everything you need to manage your account on the go. You can even set up new online bill pay payees. Transferring money from one account to another account is seamless and extremely easy. Remote check deposit is available, and, works quite well for when you have a paper check to deposit and don’t necessarily want to make a trip to your local branch to make a teller deposit.
The ONLY reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the transaction history sometimes doesn’t go back as far as needed to research a transaction. There doesn’t seem to be a rhyme or reason as to how far back it goes. Some times it will go back months and other times it only shows a few days history. This isn’t really a dealbreaker for me, however, it can be a little frustrating if you need to see a much older transaction on the go. Of course if you really need to go back that far, their website and online banking has you covered for that. So, once again, for a mobile app, this one is a solid bet for such a small chain of banks.
Union Bank website for paying bills is no longer compatible with Apple products. Two weeks ago, messaged about the problem and their response was that they are working on it and to use the mobile app. I downloaded the app and there is no ability to pay new bills. And can see my past activity and payee addresses, but I cannot jot a button to bring up a window to make new payments.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
