Pioneer the New Frontier in Astronomy.

The Unistellar eVscope : Finally, you will see. Download the Unistellar app to enjoy your Unistellar eVscope, the first light-amplified user-friendly digital telescope.

Explore the night sky : Choose an object (galaxies, nebulae, star and more) on the app and observe it, live. The Unistellar eVscope does all the pointing and tracking autonomously. Through the app, you can also set up your sky observation window.

Enjoy Enhanced vision : Observe galaxies, nebulae and comets live in unparalleled crisp and colorful details even from urban areas. Discover outer space like you have never seen it before.

Become a citizen astronomer : In partnership with the SETI Institute, join the first global network of citizen astronomers, observing and contributing to scientific discoveries, from asteroid occultations to exoplanet transits and planetary defense.

Great start, keep improvements coming

The app works well as an integral part of the eVscope. Hopefully, active and more frequent upgrades will start after a long lull in releases.

Not sure why images taken on my scope must be uploaded to Unistellar’s server through a long process to clear memory in the scope.

Really would like the ability to download raw image files for post processing.

An option to get a pop up message when enhanced mode fails and have the scope automatically repeat the last go to and restart enhanced mode would a great addition.

Amazing App for an Amazing Telescope

The Unistellar app is the companion app for the Unistellar eVscope (4.5” telescope). While the scope has the amazing ability of light gathering, the app is what controls and literally makes observing so easy with the scope. Using GPS from your phone through the app, the scope determines the scope's location so that utilizing it's star database it can easily align the scope in under a minute so observing can begin.

Within the app there are five areas, the observing screen; the deep sky object database for selection; Citizen science; saved image review and settings. Each function very well and make observing deep sky objects very simple and easy - even from the middle of large cities.

The combination of this app with the Unistellar eVScope is revolutionary. To be able to turn a telescope on, have it figure out what part of the sky it is pointed at, and from there point to any other object in the sky is amazing. Add to that the enhanced vision, essentially real time long exposure stacking by the telescope and you have a revolutionary telescope. I have seen and photographed more objects with this scope in 3 months than I have in the past 30 years with “go to” scopes. And being able to see objects in color, in real time, rather than the faint gray blobs in traditional visual astronomy, is very rewarding.
