App idea is awesome. Rewards from artists you love just for listening to their music. It is in its beginning stages so it can be pretty buggy at times.

It would be really cool if they had a sorting feature for rewards. A lot that are up have already been claimed or expired. If they could sort by “available” and by “item” that would be nifty.

Customer service also responds pretty quickly if you have any issues.

I downloaded this app for the Room Service festival and didn’t really know what to expect. This app is awesome! It’s meant to be used by festivals as well as to stream artist music. When you play music in the app, you earn karma towards that artist! Artists then have the ability to post rewards and merch that you can redeem for karma. The concept is great and it’s super easy to earn points by joining a crew and sharing the songs.

Now, this app is still very much in the beginning of its development and there are quite a few bugs and other quirks. The syncing of Spotify/Apple Music will take some time when you download the app, the notifications inside the app can get in the way of when you’re typing a message, and sometimes the pages don’t load first try. These are all very minor things in my eyes, as the app is still very much usable and works very well. The developers are also aware of the kinks and are actively working on them! I had an issue trying to redeem an award and I reached out on Instagram and they were super responsive and helped me fix the issue.

Definitely give this app a try! There will be growing pains but if you love music and free stuff there’s no reason not to join Unitea!

Although I really love the concept, I won a hoodie and spent a lot of time trying to win the hoodie because it’s freezing here where I live. I got an email on both the app and to my email stating they would reach out to me to get it all worked out and I haven’t heard anything since.
The app is very glitchy, I had to close the app numerous times and restart which made winning the hoodie that much more hard.
I will continue to use the app, even with the glitchyness I just want my hoodie. :(

UPDATED: I reached out to them on Instagram they were so so very kind and sweet and made sure my hoodie was sent out right away! Love this app!! Customer service is amazing!
