Well made but...
The game and graphics are well made and work perfectly on my ios 10 iPhone 5 but here is what I struggled with.
1) it's the same types of challenges over and over. They just get harder and you're always guessing with no storyline or meaning. Not really an adventure game as much as it is just a puzzler but ok, it is what it is.
2) I couldn't find a save feature that might be there, but I couldn't find it, and while it saves by itself at times, if you minimize, you have to start that section over so I think it only saves if you complete a section. There are different save slots but that might be if someone else wants to use your phone to play while you're not finished.
-the game is well made and the graphics are great but I need the type of game like Machinarium and Samorost, etc, that have stories too. This is more mathematical and not what I like. It's OK.
Great game, a few glitches
I am rating this game ⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the glitches (some of which break the game and force a restart).
One glitch forced me to replay the entire game from the very start.
The sound glitch is the worst.
If you multitask, say to respond to a tweet, check mail or any other task, the sound completely mutes.
You must close the game completely, then reopen it and resume from your last save point.
Another glitch is when you get stuck in the rocks and can't move out.
You guessed it, you must close the game, then reopen.
If you like trophies, you can forget 100% because some trophies are impossible due to the change of layout compared to other versions of this game.
That's right folks, the layout is different to make at least several trophies completely impossible to achieve, yet they appear on the trophy list.
Now for the reason you want this game: The graphics!
I absolutely love this game and play it all the time!! 😀
The graphics are insanely great!!
Sometimes I play this game more than once in a single day, it's THAT awesome.
The graphic technology is using the "Unreal Graphics Engine".
If you can live with the glitches, (trust me) that this game is worth it!!
Stunning, clever, but also fun!
There aren't many games on iOS that can visually compete with games on other more powerful systems like PCs or consoles. Some games try to get around the lack of graphics by focusing on the games mechanics instead, or by simply avoiding anything hard to render. This game does the opposite; it is gorgeously rendered, brilliantly designed, and cleverly puzzlefied. The controls are a bit awkward, but you get used to them. Every puzzle seems unique in some way; I wonder how they had the time to model all these 3d puzzles. This game may very well become the iOS portal.
