Unreal Remote allows you to quickly and easily test your mobile-focused Unreal Engine 3 or 4 gameplay directly on your development computer!

Use this application alongside Unreal Engine to control your game on your development computer using the actual touch and motion controls from your iOS device! Simply give Unreal Remote the name or address of your computer and it will immediately send all multi-touch, tilt and gyro information to the game. This helps you to quickly iterate on gameplay and input features while developing your Unreal Engine game.

You'll be able to quickly and easily test your mobile-focused gameplay directly on the desktop.

Fantastic way to test mobile gameplay in the UE4 Editor!

This app is fantastic and really speeds up the iteration process. I highly recommend it. One thing to note, in UE4 you must enable the Slate Remote plugin to use this app.

Great for mobile development.

Apple charges $99 per year if you want to be a certified iOS developer, and The UDK (Unreal Development Kit) comes with the ability to export your gaming fantasies straight to your mobile platform if you can afford the $99 per year. For the rest of us, Epic Games was nice enough to create this little gem. Basically you enter your dev computer's IP Address and specify a port number for it to use, and you can use your iDevice as a controller while your game runs on an iDevice emulator on PC. This allows you to test control, touch, and tilt just as if your game as running on an iDevice. Excellent idea, implemented wonderfully, and it's free! Go and start creating stuff!
