Unnecessarily good, made by excessively talented people. The product itself is real joy to use and experience. Every detail is carefully thought out, and every design decision is clearly intentional. From the layout to the interactions to the overall aesthetic, this thing is a home run.Hands-down the best music/audio app you’ll ever use.
I’m a millennial artist and I just started a project with my cousin two states away, and this is like the thing we wish we had 20 years ago when we were learning our instruments to play together. Y’all have done an amazing job thank you so much. It’s so clean and easy, has the diy aesthetic, but most importantly, functions like it’s made for the tedious recording process, where you’re tweaking audio in a collaborative process, and it’s just beautiful for that. On top of all that it’s in-house recording and cool graphics for posting teasers on social media, it makes me think olive died and gone to diy music heaven. Thank you guys for this. I am not a paid reviewer in the least just a satisfied customer FOR ONCEEE
I discovered this app at a time last year where i was writing for 3 different projects at once and sharing new demos and versions near daily. It was a mess keeping track of who has what and is it the latest version. I was mainly sharing on WhatsApp and files would get buried in chats. Discovering this app fixed all of that for me. Now i have a project for every song in untitled where i keep everything from the initial demo to the final master. Version control and sharing are so good with this app! On the phone app the editing tools are fantastic, you can test different tempos, keys, and isolate instruments right on the app. You can also record direct to the app and a recent update even added the ability to overdub on existing tracks. It is a great tool for sharing music and also for songwriting. These days i am only writing for one project and we are in the process of writing and recording an album. We use untitled pretty much daily and it has been invaluable in helping us progress. A few things that i feel could make this app even better:-same functionality on desktop and mobile. The phone app is incredible. The desktop app is more like a music player. I would love to see the same editing tools on desktop/web. -membership plan for groups/bands. I think it would be great to offer a plan where you can get multiple users in one account. This way bandmates can also upload/share/edit and its automatically updates for the whole band without needing to share links.-ability to add chord charts and sheet music to songs. Would be great to have something similar to what Apple’s Music Memos had (RIP 😢) back in the day where it would automatically detect chords and time signature and then let you add a “session” drummer and bass player as well as customize the chord charts. Overall this is an awesome app that gets better and better with each update. It has become an essential tool for me and my band. Thank you to the developers!
I absolutely love this app, everything about it, I use it every day but I find it amazing because I myself make music, only small issue, well not even issue, I just wish it was some what like SoundCloud, where I could also find up coming artist but there is also this satisfying feeling of being lowkey, if anything it’ll be amazing if there was a sweet spot they can find where it is a mix between SoundCloud and iTunes, where you can also by the music if you want to support the artists, I still like it a lot for what it is though.
this app has personally a couple jobs for me, let me save and open up my music anywhere along with being on multiple devices, and let anyone i want open up my in-progresses. it does these so well by even being on macos and not requiring anyone not on untitled to make an account. because it only really does two things, the 25 free tracks hooked me on so well to actually buy a subscription instead of just relying on my icloud. i’d love to see this app continue with extraneous features such as maybe something towards sampling a song by cutting it up automatically, which logic pro already supports but would be so much more helpful if i didnt need my mac to do it
the only thing keeping this app from a 3 to a 5 is the app crashes everytime i search for music files. Also not having the ability to organize my library from a - z is a BIG let down, leading to an unorganized mess at times. Also would like to be able to add mp3 files to a playlist within the app (not talking about starting a new project). If you guys fix those things, then the app will be 5 stars and a 10/10. Ill even come back and change my rating.
