Good app but Google Meet links force open in Chrome
Had to jump through a few hoops to get my work GCal set up in the Mac Calendar app but once that's done, seeing the menubar update itself as the next meeting looms is working great — would be even better to make it clear that the source of events will be the system calendar and that there is a path forward for GCal users.
The other half of the app is not working as well — Edge is my default browser and for some reason, this app insists on opening Chrome when I choose to join a meeting. Couldn't find a workaround for this.
Elegant & indispensable
As someone who spends almost all his workdays in back-to-back meetings, being able to glance at my menubar 5 minutes before my next meeting makes all the difference as to whether I walk into that room in the right context/mindset or not.
Perfectly simple and consistently useful.
Only allows a single calendar to be active at a time
This app sounds great in theory, but it only allows a single calendar to be projecting events to your menubar. For someone like me who organizes events into different calendars, it is basically useless. Two starts since the concept is a great idea and it probably works well for people who only use a single calendar. Hopefully, they will fix it to make it more useful to a broader audience in the future.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
