Resources to help professional baseball players follow Jesus and stay connected.

Following Jesus initiates a new life full of unlimited potential. We are former professional baseball players helping other players learn a new way of life and a new way of thinking about the world based on the life and teaching of Jesus.

The UPI App provides easy access to our Bible reading plan and weekly reflections, as well as our Bible Reading Messaging Channel where daily discussions take place on what we are all reading together. We have also provided other Bible studies, resources, trip information and more for the friends, family and supporters of Unlimited Potential, Inc.

Gathering together regularly to read the Scriptures, encourage one another and to pray for one another is what Jesus-people do. Life in the professional baseball world is a life where you are constantly on the move which makes establishing community difficult. But with a little creativity and commitment we can still gather together in a variety of ways.

How to Start a Group Using the UPI App:

WHO: All you need is 2-3 people who are willing to read and study the Bible with you. If the UPI app has been helpful to you then it should be pretty easy to share it with others. Invite others to download it and to dig in together. That's it! You just started a group.

WHEN: This is sometimes hard to decide, but just find a time that works for as many people as possible. Don't feel the pressure of setting a time that works for everyone every week. We recommend a set time of the week so it’s easy to plan for and remember, and we recommend meeting weekly because these groups tend to have a much higher success rate than groups that meet less frequently.

WHERE: Pick a place. Any place. Listen at home, in the car, at the gym, or whatever. Then meet at a home, at the field, at a coffee shop, through video or wherever works best. We recommend setting up a Messaging Channel for your group on the app which will serve as your place for daily dialogue and discussions based on what you're studying together. To set up your group Messaging Channel get in touch with us at and let us know about your group.

WHAT: Reading and studying the Scriptures is so much more powerful when you do it with other people. All you have to do is select one of the studies on the app and ask others to join you. Each person in your group will listen to the teaching on the app and then get together to discuss any thoughts or questions. You don't need an "expert" to lead you or teach you; you can do this.

Here are some discussion questions to get you started:

- What sticks out to you in this teaching?
- What is something you learned in this teaching?
- Who are the characters in this passage, and how do you relate to each one?
- How do you see this teaching's relevance to your own life?
- What action do you need to pursue in order to be transformed by this passage?

Hope this is helpful and thank you for your support!

The UPI App was developed with the Subsplash App Platform.

Great App for Men’s groups!

I am so thankful to have come across such a well put together app and ministry. I feel privileged to study God’s word alongside these ball players and their chaplains, getting into the meat of scriptural truth with other men of God. Excited to see how I can invest more in this ministry.

I’ve been using this app for a solid year now. Great for individual or group studies. More than enough information and context to effectively lead and learn
