Upkept gives you all the tools you need to master caring for your home. Tell us about your home and what’s inside, and Upkept will build you custom maintenance plans with easy to follow tasks. You’ll never need to worry about when to perform tasks, Upkept will send you automatic reminders when an Upkeep is coming up.

1. Add anything in your home.

From your fridge to your fishtank, if you add it to Upkept, we’ll help you maintain it. Upkept includes dozens of pre-built item options that cover all your major appliances, systems, surfaces, outdoors, and more. Custom Items and Custom Upkeeps let you add anything else in your home that you want to keep in tip-top shape and let’s you create maintenance tasks for them, so you can protect the value of your home.

2. Do the right work at the right time

No planning and no remembering needed. Based on your home and what's in it, Upkept builds you a custom "Upkeeps" program, with automatically scheduled tasks and reminders that pop up throughout the year.

3. Get things done confidently

When you're ready to tackle a task, Upkept helps you wipe your to-do list clean with how-tos and hacks for every upkeep. Along with step-by-step how-tos, you'll see how much time and money to budget, what tools you'll need, and whether you should tackle it yourself or if it's time to call in a pro.

So close

I really want to go all in with this app but I wish I could fully customize items. I cannot find a way to delete or modify the starting tasks that may not be relevant to my exact item. For example my generator requires a monthly maintenance run but the default task is every 3 months and cannot be changed.

Thank you for the suggestion! We are always looking to improve, so i've passed on your comment about editing our pre-set items to our production team.In the meantime, we do have a 'custom item' feature, where you can create an item and customize it as needed.

Inadequate Support

A liked the functionality and options of this app until I ran into a problem. I was trying to add a custom item to the kitchen category. Surprisingly, a microwave is not a part of their pre-set. A custom item canNOT be added - no picture, no details. I wrote to customer support, got an answer that they knew about the issue and were working on it. It’s been a month already, nothing happened. To my follow up email, I got a rude answer that they would let me know when it’s fixed. So, for now, I am not motivated to keep adding items as their picture upload doesn’t work even for the pre-set items. That prevents me from adding critical information about the appliances.

A must-have for home maintenance sticklers

Great app that gives tons of insight into home maintenance and lots of to dos that you might not have thought of. The ability to store item information and receipts is great and love the customizability for to do items. It’s a little rough around the edges with some glitches here and there but overall works pretty well and I find it super handy!
