You've probably heard the old song "Take This Job and Shove It." Well, in my case, I'm submitting virtually the same thing to Evernote, which is "Take Your App and Shove It." I was with them for 16 years and initially loved it. Then, after a few years, they came back and doubled the price, and then a few years later did that again. Recently, they did that for the last time. I started out in the $30 range, and they got all the way up to, for my renewal in September of 2026, the tune of $249 annually. I'm not the only one jumping ship. I've noticed there are many, and I'm glad to see that because bending spoons can stick their spoon. It started out as a small American product, and they sold this out to an overseas company, which has literally abused their clientele. I think this may very well blow up in their face before they get a chance to pull this off for one more time in an attempt to sell again. After seeing that I could import everything that I had and make it work, I automatically jumped on and bought a lifetime membership. If they do actually ever start charging additional fees, provided it's not absurd, I'll be glad to pay it. Thank you, UpNote, I'll be preaching this to the choir and everyone that I know that I told how great Evernote "used to be".
