I was looking for something that would consolidate all key travel information. Unfortunately, while this program asks you to enter all relevant information such as confirmation numbers and flight numbers, the summary itinerary fails to include any of this information. I guess when you need that information, you are supposed to open up your computer and search for it under the relevant category. Save your money and just enter all the relevant information in your online calendar which can be accessed via mobile devices.

Developer Response ,

The latest version of VacationPlanner now has an itinerary with more information. You should enter all key travel information first and then generate the itinerary since it pulls all that information to give you a summary. Besides the itinerary report there is now an app called VacationSync that allows you to take the information with you on your phone.

Works GREAT!

No problem at all syncing with iPhone 3gs! Just got National Park Pass and had fun planning first trip. Tried out all the options: Calendar of Events, Room, Packing List, Itenerary, Budget, Tickets, Dining, Transportation, Web, and Locations. All worked like a breeze! This app sure adds to the joy of planning a trip! Thanks!

Great idea but it doesn’t work!

When I saw in the in the app store I thought this is a “must have” for my travel in Europe next month — especially since I could transfer all the info to one compact location on my iPhone.
Unfortunately, the transfer to the VacationSync app never happens! My email to the developer for support went unanswered. Don’t waste ten bucks (like I did) on this junk.

Developer Response ,

Recently resolved a similar sync issue with another user. They were trying to sync with a Cisco Wireless Access Point and could not get the information to transfer. VacationSync is designed to work with your home wireless router provided by your broadband company. There is a video on YouTube for VacationSync that shows how it works. Sorry about any issues you had with the app.
