Valley Companion: Dreamlight 4+

I have been loving the app since I downloaded the game back in December 2022. I love that I’m able to keep track of when it rains when I planted items, what’s your feed animals things like that. It’s very convenient and easy and very straightforward which I love. I did pay the $4.99 so that I forever will have this app and will stay up to date as game progresses

Things that I want the developer to know to add so that Apt can be even better.

-add each character and list their favorite foods
- add items that you can craft with material and take
-Add a checklist so that you can check off things that you have already accomplished such as all the food you’ve already made, furniture, and clothes that you have already gathered and so on

I just want to say those are the only things at this moment that I would love to have added to the app so that I don’t have to keep going to Google to find the answers. Overall love the app it’s literally the only one I’ve downloaded since I got the game and it keeps me on my toes. I think my favorite feature will most definitely have to be the notification when animals come out that way I don’t miss an opportunity to feed them.

The guide in its current state (Jan 2023) is quite full of daily activity checklists, my biggest gripe at the moment is the ui- there’s no automatic scaling for any of the menus or fonts, so while using my iPhone XS everything is really squashed and doesnt form to the appropriate spot on the screen. Same with the font, it’s very large and appears squeezed into the borders of the bounding boxes. I’d suggest try using some formatting plugins to solve this issue- or maybe play around with getting help from some other devs (Reddit is always good) as I know this is a fanmade project. I’ll keep using it because it’s the most popular guide and honestly looks the most promising especially with all the requested features. Once more updates come in I’ll probably purchase the ad free version, until then I’ll support by using the app and clicking ads here and there. I believe in you dev! You got this 👍🏻

Hey, I just released a new crops feature im super excited about and have been wo😊rking on the last few weeks. Now that that crops feature is out (in addition to working on furniture) I am taking a back pass at all the UI and will fix scaling issues as well as other areas that need polish.

If you ever want to add more feedback I have a place in app to do so. I don't have a way to respond but I do read every message that comes in through there.

I want the developer to know that I really appreciate all the hard work and effort that they have put into this app. I thoroughly enjoy it and realize that it takes time to get features and bugs solved especially if this is a one man job or even a small team. I had no problem paying for premium and the fact that it is a one time purchase and not a subscription it’s very appealing to me. Reminds me of the way apps in the App Store used to be. My suggestion would be to add a “tip jar” for those of us who want to give a little extra support for when you release more updates. Thanks for this quality app. Can’t wait to see the updates to come. Highly recommend for the casual dreamlight gamer.
