Version 3.0 supports direct export to MS Outlook. - You can choose or create an Outlook category to export to. - The app will put the contents of any custom fields you may have created into the notes field. - You can also tell the app to avoid duplicates (compares first and last names) and if you want to update records the app may have found in Outlook or not. Supports saving data as Excel (.xlsx) - You can also save your data back as an Excel file (useful if you've modified your data and are not quite ready to do the export). You can now preview your contacts as they will be shown in the contacts.app. There is now also a powerful search & replace dialog which will allow to search for empty cells or any other string and replace it. It turns the app into a spread sheet editor as you can now also save your modified data. Pictures will now also be exported if you assign the picture URL field (even though they don't show up in the preview). Please note that the export will then take a little longer as the app needs to fetch each picture from the given url. Also fixed a problem with saved column config files containing custom fields. Contains 2 improvements (the first one is about importing 2 digit birthday-years. The app deals with this a lot smarter now (assumes the current century only if the year is <=18 (current year)). A problem with the license dialog has also been fixed). Thanks again for all the valuable feedback!

The app now starts up in english unless you got your system language set to german. A problem with reading dates has been fixed. The app is now called "vCardConverter for Excel" to comply with the App Store naming conventions.

You can now create custom fields and decide if you want to export those in the notes field (you'd do this in the export settings dialog). There is no need to do this (export to notes field) if for example you eventually want to import your vCards into Outlook as Outlook displays custom fields just fine, but the contacts.app on the other hand doesn't.
