Fix the laggy log in with touch id & I’ll rate higher

Ever since VeraBank has launched the current version of the app 9 times out of 10 I and another person I know find that when he use touch id to log into the app it will lag (with that circular loading symbol) and won’t load your account(s). I’ve force quit all apps before logging (trying to log in anyway), I’ve even trying doing a hard power down on my device. None of that helps. Like I was saying 9 times out of 10 you won’t get to open/load your account on the first try. I’ve waited minutes most of the time without it loading my account. I force quit the time and then sometimes on the 2nd try it will then work and log me in, but sometimes like today it’s 3 tries and nothing still. Extremely frustrating! I’d hoped when VeraBank overhauled the app and relaunched it this would’ve been fixed, but it’s still happening. The actual brick and mortar location of the bank and it’s employees are great, but the app gets a solid 2. Some days I think about changing to a bank with an app that works regularly.

Frustrating

The original app had features that I did actually like, as well as presentation that was easier to navigate. One example is the access to bill pay, which now has to be found in the “menu” section. I wish the tab bar the bottom of the app was customizable, because I rarely need access to “chat” Also, now the bill pay section continues to display items after they are paid. It’s distracting (to me anyway) and overall I feel like the app in its original form was easier to navigate and easier to read. Also, CONSTANT display issues and bugs, (at least the bank does put up a banner in the login area alerting you) that make utilization at times impossible.

Bring back the old App please

As most of the reviews say so, the new app it’s awful. It glitches every time we open it (if it opens at all). Transactions take a long time to clear up. Overall it’s the functionality of the app that doesn’t work. We have to reset the phones in hopes that it will help but in reality, it’s the app.
After someone left a bad review there is the “customer service “ answering asking to send an email to the bank stating what’s the issue, it seems the same type of answer to all the reviews, and even if we send the emails what are we gonna say? What are they gonna do? We don’t need the bank to go over our transactions or stuff like that, that’s what the app it’s for.
If the app it does not fix the bank may lose a lot of customers because it’s a pain trying to manage transactions with an app that doesn’t work as it should.
If someone is monitoring these reviews please bring back the old app if this new one can’t be fixed. Thank you.
