VI Mobile 2 is a video management system app that allows authorized "on the go" users to access live and recorded video from any camera on any server. Users can view control PTZ cameras, view full resolution and high frame rates with H.264. The app imports all settings from a single address providing users access to individual cameras or in groups of cameras in pre-defined layouts. Users can save or email snapshots, view recorded images by alarm or specific times and view thumbnails images on facility maps. User access is controlled by the Video Insight Server with robust integration with Active Directory/LDAP users and groups. Access Control allows you to lock and unlock doors, and view entry and alarm history for the doors on your system.

Requires Video Insight Enterprise Server version 7.0 or greater. It is recommended that you use server version 7.3.0 or greater.
- Fixed issue with layouts that have large number of large frame size cameras.
Ratings and Reviews
This application constantly refuses to connect. We have many users that have issues with it. On our corporate WiFi and the servers can’t be found. The only fix is to kill the app, turn off WiFi, turn on our VPN, open the app and reload the servers. Then kill the app, disconnect from VPN, turn on WiFi, and reload the servers and it will connect. Horrible trying to tell that to our administrators.

Great, but it was better
This current version is more stable than last. The customers that I have setup with the app love it. Few issues I have is the load time when selecting individual cameras. Also, the "Maintain Aspect Ratio" is no longer working as with previous version. The Pinch to zoom in/out while on a camera layout is also missing. Before you could pinch zoom on a cameras while viewing multiple cameras on a layout.
In all, this is by far one of my favorite apps compared to the Pel**, Sal***, Avig*** apps.
If you can bring back the pinch, aspect ratio, and work on the load times, this would get 5*.
App will not allow me to control doors
This app is constantly crashing and still does not connect to any of my companies doors so that I can lock and unlock remotely.
I had our installers out to troubleshoot and they mentioned that the company was aware of the issue, however, was not looking to fix the issue. I was using this app on an iPad for the front receptionist area so that we could let people in the building so this was very disappointing.
Hope a fix comes out soon or I might suggest to move to a new system that has better support.
