Absolutely Horrible

Viasat is the absolute worst satellite internet provider I’ve experienced. When it was Excede, we switched to Hughes Net hoping it would be faster. When it wasn’t, we came back to Excede, now Viasat, and have had nothing but problems. We are blowing through our data in the first week of the month although we are doing nothing different then we ever did and we have to continually buy more data in order to get through the month. When we called the company itself, a recording said there were several accounts associated with our phone number so they couldn’t help us now. The app won’t even let us login. We are trying to figure out where the data is going and can’t seem to get any answers.

For as much money as we pay for this service, you need to get your stuff together, Viasat and start making your customers happy!

I just tried to submit this review 4 times using viasat's service and was debited each time for "loss of service." I pay WAY too much to not be able to use there internet. Long story short, AVOID THIS SERVICE AND APP AT ALL COSTS! Nothing works, you pay an exuberant amount of money just to call customer service and have them tell you "I'm sorry you chose this plan. If you would like, I can upgrade you to the next plan of 15 extra GBS for $100 a month."
I am well within my limit of "unlimited data" (40GB a month) and still can't connect a PlayStation 4 to the internet at any point throughout a day.
This app doesn't give/offer the full details of my account anywhere. I've used their recommended speed test service and am consistently met with below paid for speeds. No matter what time of day it is.
Avoid this service and app at all costs!!!!

Horrible App

This is the worst App I have downloaded from the Apple Store. It worked for two weeks and then failed repeatedly to open. I deleted the App and reinstalled, but it continued to fail. I also changed passwords six times with the same results. Exide/Viasat should fix this App if they want to support customers. I wanted to monitor my usage like most other users. After reading the review’s of other it is my opinion that Exide/Viasat does not care in the least for those who spend hundreds of dollars to use their system. As soon as SpaceX has their low orbit broadband system in place, tested and verified then companies like Exide/Viasat, Hughes and Verizon JetPack will be out of business. The sooner the better. Do not use this App or try it again until at least a 3.5 to 4 rating.
