Our goal is for the VIN app to serve as a deterrent, placing the accountability on the perpetrator and not the victim.
When the perpetrator is aware that the victim has our cutting edge technology, it may serve as a deterrent, possibly eliminating further acts of violence.
If the perpetrator commits further acts of violence, the app will track the victim in real time, while stamping the time, date and GPS coordinates of the alert, while recording up to 30 seconds of video and audio. This allows the victim to pursue additional charges against the perpetrator.
Data that is collected becomes evidence that can be used against the perpetrator in civil and criminal cases empowering the victim to make decisions and giving them the ability to be heard in all stages of the proceedings.
