Simple to use and fixes videos that where not closed correctly due to a battery dieing. I use it for my flying videos that some times end without warning because of a dead battery or I don't close it out first. Just make sure your have a working reference video from the same device so the software knows the encoding of the damage file. You can quickcly create one on your device if you don't have one handy. Yes, you have to pay for it (once for life) if you find it worked for your video; but that is better then others that require monthly substriptions. It worked fine for me on my M1Pro Mac; glad to pay the one time price.

I was recording a video with audio for a Zoom class with an iPevo document camera and Presenter software, and when saving the video the application hung and didn’t complete saving. I had to force quit the application (Macbook pro) and my video file wasn’t saved. I found a temp folder where there was a .mov file with the timestamp for when I recorded the video but it wouldn’t open or play. Researcing this problem led me to believe the file was missing the moov atom which prevents a video from being playable.

The app store had this option for a video repair app, and one other that had bad reviews. I decided to try this one and had to leave it working overnight. When I checked in the morning, the app had made my almost lost video playable! I had to pay for the app to save the repaired file, but it was more than worth it for the time it would take to re-record the video for my class. The audio was not restored but that is easier to add on later.

This little app worked perfectly for me. I was recording video to a drone which lost power while recording. The file was present but unreadable and the app fixed it quickly and easily. The app showed me that it had successfully recovered the video before prompting me to upgrade to retrieve the file. As a professional videographer, I did not expect this service to be free. Thanks for the great app!
