Good start…but I want more

Please PLEASE PLEASE protect this through password.

Also, a writing component underneath the video entries would be great. That way it would be easier to remember what I talked about in the video…that way I could also write an entry if I feel more of the need to write than to talk.

Good start. I love the calendar view of the entries. It is very neatly organized and user friendly. I would just like more privacy and more journaling options.

Happy to hear that you like the app! Instead of us adding a password feature, I encourage users to set password for the whole user account in macOS with full disk encryption — trust me, it's safer that way.

It works, its simple, its the only option in the market

The app is nice and works, I am using an M1 mac and everything is fine. I would say the only thing is not being able to back up the files, or adding previous videos from my daily camera diary. Aside, from that please keep supporting the app, and make sure is set up in a way that we can backup, acess the videos one day if the app is no longer updated or something... But I recommended it! Is simple and cool and gets the job done, reminds me on Avatar when the Marine does the daily logs, yes we can do it just recording ourselves, but this way is better cause there is structure and a calendar and place where we go to find our daily reflections... Thanks dev team for creating this, will probably impact my life in positive way overtime!

Needs a lot of features

This app is simple and good on a very basic level for keeping a video journal. That is basically all it can do, however.

In fact, there's no settings menu of any kind, nor any other obvious features available.

For example, given the amount of videos one would expect to record over time, it is logical that an external drive or even cloud drive would be where the videos and even database would be stored, but instead you're stuck with your own hard drive. Which means you'd better have an active backup going, or your journal is gone the moment something goes wrong with your computer. I'm using BackBlaze to cover my tail for restore there.

Also, if you want to make your video outside of this app, such as importing videos you made while on vacation, well that isn't an option, either. Speaking of which, it doesn't do anything with Location Services, so if you've got this on a laptop and are doing videos in different places, that's not going to be recorded, either.

It's quite clear this app needs a lot of work.
