Whiteboard videos look great. They’re captivating, engaging and fun. And they work. Research shows that they get remembered, shared and recommended more – and lead to more sales – than other forms of video.

But how do you make one?

With VideoScribe it’s easy. Simply add images and text to the canvas and watch VideoScribe magically turn them into a powerful animated video. Pick an original soundtrack or record your own voiceover to add another dimension to your animation.

I prefer the old version of this app which has the ability to frame-position the object as well as the time-control of the transition between objects .

As the team currently implies the limitations on the mobile version on those functions , it really pushes me to find another app.

Perfect! But some suggestions

Hi! I absolutely love this app, it’s great to make white board animations. I love lost of things about this app, as well as being able to take some objects instead of drawing them all. Even if it is handy in some situations, I do have some suggestions. 1, perhaps making a option to draw your own as well would help, because of the fact that the objects givin are very limited. Let them be able to draw, but also take objects as well, so that sometimes when they don’t have enough options, they can draw there own. 2, it would be nice if the characters had more poses, as well as running, and sitting. It would also be nice to have the characters able to move some, like real animating. Or add already made animations, like walking. 3, I would like to be able to change the color of some areas in the characters. For instance, I want to make a picture of me, brown hair light skin, but I can’t find a single girl with my features. It would be very appreciated if these would be considered. I feel it would make this app a bit more agreeable. Thank you.

Not easy to import custom images

I really wanted to love VS Anywhere, I really do, because I’ve been using the PC version for years now. But they really need to do something about how custom images are brought into the app. The process is convoluted and not user friendly. You can only use access locally your camera roll, screenshots, and albums on your ipad. There’s no way to send your illustrations saved as svg to these folders. Why can’t VS allow you to get to other folders more friendly to svgs? Very frustrating workflow. If VS is serious about this product on iPad, make the process of bringing in custom svgs easier. Users should be able to use Illustrator, Affinity Designer, and other vector-based apps to create svgs that can easily be imported into this app.
