Lot's of Bugs iPhone 6
This editor has lots of potential but I produced my second video and ran into many issues. Below is a list of problems (only tested on iPhone 6):
* Does not scale properly in Landscape mode when editing. Preview falls off the edge of screen, scrubber width does not change size or granularity.
* When rotating phone back in Portrait Mode, the Lower Clip Tray falls onto the Preview window (have to close app).
* Scrubber for "Split" does not have Frame granularity. I could not find the area I wanted to split using scrubber. Had to use Clip Timeline to place scrubber.
* Split should display both Clip Time Position and Video Time Position at Scrubber's location. Watching preview displays time before entering Split, but Split shows only Clip Time, requiring playback of clip to locate area to Split.
* Crashes every once in a while (iOS 8.1.2)
Would be nice to add DropBox Sharing.
Yes They Do Honor Free Update!
The Jan. 20 update for MoviePro says VidPro is available for free and the in-app purchase to unlock all pro-features is free for a limited amount if time. They stated this on Jan. 20, not Jan. 16, so the previous review was not correct. I'm a MoviePro user and found out about VidPro as a note in their MoviePro update because they want MoviePro users to use VidPro as their editor because the MoviePro editing is not yet as good as the dedicated VidPro product. The fact they offer the app and full upgrade for free is very generous so all MoviePro users are taken care of with a dependable solution. Wow, that's pretty doggone nice I say! I just got VidPro and they indeed honored the free limited-time offer to full pro features when you finalize saving a project. Do it while you've been provided this nice opportunity so you don't unfairly blame them for taking advantage if people. MoviePro for movies, VidPro for editing them. I'm excited to work with both of them, thank you developers!
Don't believe the lies
Other people don't know what their talking about. Saying there's no delete button. There is a delete button on deleting videos you have to press the video and then the delete button as simple as that. This app isn't a scam I got the pro version for free because I won there other movie app I don't know if it's free to others that doesn't own movie pro or what but, I got it for free. This app is good for editing. I did video tests on my iPhone 5s and done some editing. My next big test is gonna be using my Sony hx400v camera and importing my videos to my iPad Air 2 and really take the next test to the next level and see how good it works.
