Description

Vigilance Buddy by Research Buddies

This application is based on the ‘psychomotor vigilance task (PVT)’ which measures the speed of which users respond to the given visual stimulus.

Edit the number of rounds per test, maximum time between tap and start of the timer and much more.

Collect & Send the results directly to your personal email address.

With our focus on usability the application can be used easily by anyone. Because of this it doesn’t matter if your subjects are digital natives or people with zero to none tablet experience.

Happy researching!

Just a few modifications from 5 stars

It would be useful if the average response time does not include the false positive scores (0) in the calculation. If there is a false positive, the score needs to be adjusted manually in Excel.

Also, displaying the number of false positives and test duration on the initial feedback (before exporting) would be useful.

Hi Vigilant Buddy,

First of all: Cool name!

We've worked on a fix for this issue and sent it to the App Store. Keep your eye out for the update!

Best Regards,
Research Buddies

GPharr ,

Pretty good

Not bad but it would be better if the tests averaged the response time for each test.

Developer Response ,

Hi GPharr,

We’re happy letting you know that we’re currently working on your idea about showing the average response time on each test.

An exact date is yet to be determined, but it will not take very long.

Keep the feedback coming!

Best Regards,
The Research Buddies team

Doesn’t stop and can’t see data

I set the timer but it never stopped. I see another user had this problem. Please fix!
