Village Inn Rewards 4+

I finally decided to try Breakfast again after my last visit was disappointing, and the same 1/2 Pound Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast was again disappointing. I specifically asked my waitress to have the kitchen LIGHTLY FRY my Steak and HASHBROWNS and mine came burned on edges both the Chicken Steak and HASHBROWNS, even my OVER EASY EGGS HAD BURNT CRISPY EDGES. This place prior to THE COVID PANDEMIC, was an outstanding restaurant, now it’s hardly occupied, hence due to poor quality results on food preparation. My husband said his breakfast was tasteless and his Scrambled Eggs overcooked and dry! We will never pay the increased prices for a poorly prepared breakfast there again!! So disappointed. I tried to give a 1 STAR for this review, but it popped up a 5 star, which it definitely was not!!!!

There was hardly anyone in this location which made me curious there only two waitresses working I ordered chicken noodle soup and the half sandwich the soup came it looks strange the lady said oh they had to change companies but it was just same. it was not it was horrible my husband ordered a hamburger well they were out of buns so he got his hamburger and two slices of Texas toast he wanted onion rings or french fries they were out of those we also overheard the conversation at the next table young lady ordered pancakes with strawberries they were out of strawberries and I don’t remember what it was a man ordered but what he ordered they were out of this is the worst service we have ever encountered at that location will probably give it one more chance but if it does not improve we won’t be going back and it is the only Village Inn that I know of in our area thank you. Thank you

Purchased a piece of Key Lime pie to go. When I got home I discovered there had been a mistake and I was given Coconut Creme 😞. Called and spoke to John, the Manager. He credited the amount of the pie back to my account. He also said the next time I come in and he’s working just mention Key Lime Pie and it will be on him. That is the type of Customer Service that will keep me going back to Village Inn. Julie, our waitress was also very sweet, she was probably confused because I changed my pie choice three times 🤦‍♀️.
