Can I invest in Vinovest if I don't live in the US?
Yes, Vinovest is available to anyone who can legally purchase alcohol.
What is the minimum amount I need to invest?
There is no minimum deposit amount to start a trading portfolio. The minimum to open a managed portfolio is $1,000
What methods of payment does Vinovest accept?
Vinovest accepts bank transfers, credit cards, wire transfers, paper checks, and cryptocurrencies.
What are the management fees associated with my Vinovest account?
The management fee depends on your investment tier. The current fee structure is as follows:
Standard Tier - 2.50%
Plus Tier - 2.35%
Premier Tier - 2.15%
Grand Cru Tier - 1.90%
The fee covers insurance, storage, authentication, and active management of your portfolio. Fees are prorated across the year and only charged on the invested capital in your account.
When do I sell my wine and whiskey?
We take care of that for you. When your wine and whiskey reach their ideal selling window, we reach out to our global network of buyers to secure the highest price on your behalf.
Can Vinovest ship wine and whiskey in my portfolio to my home address?
Yes, we can ship bottles from your portfolio directly to your home (or any other address that can legally be shipped to).

A black hole where money disappears
It’s easy to buy wine using this app! It’s nearly impossible to sell wine here, or get your bottles shipped to you! Terrible to non-existent liquidity. Huge bid/ask spreads. Intractably awful customer service. You can buy wines here, in theory. But you can’t sell them, not really. Do you like taking a 20% haircut on wines you’ve owned for 6 months? Do you like listing wines bought on the same platform, recommended by the platform, that receive ZERO bids when listed for sale? If so, enjoy Vinovest. When asked to have the wines shipped to you, you get an excuse about the “extensive preparation” that will take 9 - 12 weeks at a minimum. To ship seven (7) bottles of wine worth $1,000. In my opinion, this operation has all the appearances of a Ponzi scheme. Avoid at all costs.
Ok but what else
The app is just ok. There is not a lot you can do on the app. Extremely basic point and click. No planning no research no real value other than to see point in time data. Also there doesn’t seem to be any support to projected returns. Sometimes my wine is positive and then negative. No real reason supporting why. Additionally chat/email support is pretty slow and basic. I haven’t spent a lot of time here so maybe it’s better than my experience but everything is underwhelming.
