App isn’t working
Find it funny I order a knife and it tells me to use this app that states that an update is needed yet I have the most current version.
Extremely disappointed that this hasn’t been addressed!
Download, update, open app, update, repeat ad infinitum
I’m surprised a company like Viper Tec has an app that is so ridiculously bad. I downloaded the app, and upon opening it, there is a pop up message saying there is an updated version of the app to download, with a button that says, “update.” Tap on the update button and you’re taken to the App Store to download the exact same app. The only button option in the App Store is the familiar “open” button, indicating you’ve already downloaded the app. But you tap the open button anyway, because why not? The app opens and guess what comes next? A pop up message saying there is an updated version of the app to download, with a button that says, “update.” I’ll give you one guess what happens if you tap that “update” button. If you guessed the same process I just outlined then you win a prize. At least remove it from the App Store. Or give a new message that pops up. I was really hopeful and am really disappointed. Obviously, Viper Tec makes incredible knives and not apps. But in this day and age, the app says a lot about how a company sees its customers. Please do better.
Never Shipped
Ordered a knife 28 days ago and still have not received it. Emailed support to follow up and make sure the order went through after 7 days and they responded that it was on back order and would be shipping by the end of the week. Never got a follow up that the order shipped so I called the following week. Was told that the knife was back in stock and would be shipping that day. A week later still no tracking info or knife and customer service has not returned my message.
