With Visual Budget, easily manage your personal and business accounts using powerful, advanced analysis and consolidation features.
Visual Budget can be used to handle several accounts simultaneously and sort them into different groups.
Expense/income categories are automatically created based on a standard model that fits most needs. You can of course modify this category list to suit more particular requirements for each of your accounts. Two levels of categories/sub-categories allow you to define your budget plan in an easy but precise way.
Assign a budget to every category, and accurately monitor the evolution of your income and expenses.
You can input your financial transactions manually, or automatically by importing CSV (spreadsheet) or OFX (bank standard) files.
Check off your transactions to ensure that they match your bank statements.
Define recurring transactions, such as a monthly Internet subscription, once and for all.
Visual Budget also features Overview tools, allowing you to visualize the breakdown of your transactions and the changes in your balances in the blink of an eye, and to monitor your budgets efficiently
Several graphs (bar or pie charts) provided by the application give you a clear and synthetic view of your transactions and their breakdown into expense, income, category and budgetary changes.
The application comes with an example account featuring a dozen transactions which will allow you to quickly become familiar with it.

This app works reat for except for two missing functions: 1-The ability to split an individual entry among several categories, and 2-an automatic fill function for frequently entered transactions.
Bad customer service
I purchased the apps a few years back. It was good. But after I haven’t use the apps for a few months, when I came back to it, all my data are erased. I tried contacted the customer service, their respond sounded unfriendly - Ex: "You are not clear in your question, did you erase your apps, etc.” So I ignored their not-helpful-respond and just enter my new expenses in my mac (the data in the phone can’t sync to the mac by the way, so if you input in your mac, it does nothing to your phone apps). So now as I entered more expenses in my mac, a pop up said I exceed the free apps, so I need to buy it. I tried to restore my apps that I purchased and it took forever. So I contacted them again asking why it takes so long? They said they dont know what’s wrong with my mac, i probably need to reboot my mac. Well, I’m done with their customer service. Now I tried to restore the app again, it said can’t find. I rather go back to the spread sheet, the best and safest way to manage your budgets.
RJ, This is a very nice finanical application
This application is a little different to what I have been use too, but it was very easy to learn without having to go to support. After using it for a short time, I purcased this program and I am very happy with it. There is only one thing I would change if I could. You can add or change or delete any category, but you have to do it for each and every account you have listed. Otherwords, if you have your checking account high lighted and you change a category, it will only be changed for the accounted high lighted. You must go from account to account. Not a big problem, but very different than what I am use too. All in all, very nice application.
