VIVA Chicken APP 4+

I love everything about Viva, starting with the chicken, of course. It's alway tender and hot, and the seasoning is so flavorful! The sides are marvelous, and I look forward to trying all of them. It's worth the 40 minute drive to come here because I know I will get an excellent meal. I'd come every day if I could.
I enjoy the app. It took me a couple times to figure out that I need to scroll down to add my second side. I can add more items to my order (like a whole bottle of the green Huacatay sauce) by going back into the app to a different category.

Most people would get the app for the loyalty program or for the convenience of ordering through the app. Since neither work, the app is effectively a digital paperweight.
You can’t order unless you specify what location you are ordering from (that makes sense). Unfortunately, the two methods to find your location (list or map) are dead features. When I went into the store for help, I was told that the app was buggy and just stops working sometimes. As far as I can tell, it has not worked in at least six months. I believe that customers who were previously able to fix a preferred location within the app may still be able to order (that’s what someone in line at the store told me).
With regard to the loyalty program, you can only receive points if you order take out through the app. There are no points for dine in, but both the app and the website say you should be able to call in for take out and get points. This doesn’t work. The employees are exceptionally friendly, but do not have any training on the loyalty program and are unable to add points in the store for take out.
Save yourself the frustration and eat elsewhere.

My husband and I are SoOoOoOo happy to have Viva Peruvian Chicken Restaurant in our neighborhood on Woodruff Road! We haven't had fried chicken in two years! ALL of the items on their menu are FRESH and cooked to perfection! Being introduced to a new place & food offering makes us want to visit Peru! The Chicken is ALWAYS good! I don't know their process but it's the HEALTIEST, most delicious restaurant food we've ever had! And my husband and I are in our 80s!!!!!! We LOVE it!
