VLLO, My First Video Editor Ratings and Reviews

I love this app! It takes a minute to learn how to navigate, but it’s highly efficient, and works well. I use it a lot! I like that it’s free, too, because I’m a broke college student. My only issue (at the moment and this literally only became an issue like two days ago) is that every time I enter the app, or exit out of a video to edit a different one, I get a full screen add for the premium plan. And while it is an amazing deal (don’t get me wrong), it’s getting a little annoying. This only just became an issue though. I wouldn’t mind seeing it the first time I open the app, but when I close it, I don’t want to see it again at least until the following day.

That’s literally the only problem though. It’s such a good app, and the grid makes it easy to center text, pictures, and even zooming in doesnt distort the photos further. It took me a really long time to find an editing app that didn’t lure me in with an add then try to rob me blind. I’m so glad I found VLLO, and I recommend it to people under ads for editing apps that charge $20 a month in order to have access. Even if you did want a premium version of this app, the prices aren’t absurd. They’re reasonable. I just can’t ✨afford it✨ because college has me on a budget. Still, 10/10 would recommend.

great app, but needs some improvements..

I’ve been using this app for awhile to edit and have gotten many compliments and surprised reactions when I tell them I edit on mobile. Although since I have been using this app for so long I have found a few bugs and features I wish it had. I found specifically if you set a PIP gif on one of the blend modes it makes playback on the main clip significantly laggier. I can deal with it since it always seems to export fine, but i do find it quite annoying. Also i sometimes use a mouse when I edit on my iPad and I think it would be great if you can be able to change the dial settings using the mouse. currently it only works when you touch it. for example, if I am changing the x, y coordinates I can’t move the dial using the mouse. of course this is not too bothersome and I always just end up using my fingers. now for some suggestions, I’d love to see a masking feature similar to ones in apps like VN. I find it very useful, but the amount of steps i have to go through to get masking on this app is way too much. then lastly, i would like to be able to adjust the spacing between text. it adds a nice touch and is a very common feature that would be a great addition to this app.

Amazing Tool. Leader of the pack!

I have been using VLLO since it launched. In that time I have also tried the apps from video editing "industry leaders" as well as specialty camera editors and other newly developed app competitors. In leaving this review, i'm also trying to take into account that we are all so different in our styles, approaches and creativity AND the fact that tech is changing overnight every night. VLLO is simply the easiest, most robust, all in one tool you will find --for it's price. Which is...FREE. And DO NOT think that free means limited. IT IS NOT. Practically every app out there does something well, and then also upcharges you for this' and thats' or is very complex with big learning curves. VLLO is the most all inclusive, most regularly updated, most simple and easy to use, to post and to share tool out there! KUDOS VLLO. (Now if I had one thing that I would ask to be changed or expanded upon... Please, PLEASE, can we get some transitions in some more normal, basic colors? The pastels and fringe other colors are killing me. The animations are great. But the colors...oooowie.) ((or maybe I don't know how to change those-HA!))👍👍👍

Best Video Editor Ever!

I was looking through the App Store finding a nice video editor that I could use to make Gacha Life videos. I’ve downloaded many of those video editors and tried them out...but there’s always some sort of annoying issues in those video editors. For instance, Gacha videos are technically animation, so I would need the pictures to be able to be cropped in very short time period. But most video editors only allow the shortest pictures to be 1 second. That’s too long for my Gacha videos. Other times, some video editors have a huge watermark that blocks out the important part of my videos, which is annoying. And some video editors are SUPER slow, and I don’t got that much time up my sleeves to wait for just one picture to be cropped. That’s why VLLO is amazing. It doesn’t have a watermark (in the free version) and you can crop pictures and videos to be super short, which is very useful for videos. It’s also quick and easy. I decided to purchase the full version seeing that it’s a one time purchase, which is also amazing. I recommend this video editor for anyone that needs to get a video done quick and neat.

I love this app

I love this app so much. It has become my primary editing app. I hope this app can become available on more and more devices, therefore I'm able to use it on any type of device. Everything you need in editing software this app provides it. Literally!! I'm able to work on multiple projects, use green screens, use non copy right background music, use video filters and several fonts all provided in app!! It's so worth purchasing the premium because they frequently update the app which is genius. It's like they use the app themselves or actually take into consideration what creators actually need. I've left a review before but after recent updates I just had to leave another review. I just want to say to the creators of this app. Thank you so much for everything and continue being great. I wish you all much success. If you don't have this app you won't know how much you need this editing app until you actually try it out. Give it a try. ☺️

Great app!

Honestly, I don’t really write reviews but as a beginner in editing videos, this app is truly great! There are certain features that you might have to pay for such as using a video in pip, but you still have a wide variety and range of tools and other features that are available to you for free. The software itself is pretty easy to navigate, but if you’re having trouble, there is beginners guide video available to you within the app. If you still need more help, there is always a little icon at the top to help you navigate your way around the software.

The thing I love most about the app is that it doesn’t limit your creativity. Especially as beginner in editing, it can be hard to find editing software that allows you to practice and grow in your skill without having to pay huge chunks of money for it. A friend recommended this app to me and I was a bit skeptical at first but I’m really glad I downloaded it.

Great app just a suggestion

Hey VLLO i love this app so much i really do and i was just wondering if you could add something where the letters could kind of wiggle like some girl youtubers use and make the screen shake and also something where we can make the screen red or blue or green. also maybe some voice effects like some girl youtubers use like sydney serena. that's a person i know that does those kinds of things so it might help you think of what i'm talking about. sorry if this is really long
i would also like it if you could do something where we can change the speed of the zoom in so i can make the zoom in faster and not the video. sorry and two more things. can you make it too where i can add green screens and a cutaway where you can like put video or a photo for a certain amount of time but also your voice in the actually video is like in the background. sorry if this doesn't make sense just look up cutaway for editing sorry....this is alot😐

Good but needs some updates/fixes

This app is perfect if your looking for something to edit your videos or make GIFs, but it takes most of your storage and for most of the stickers, text, etc it’s pro and you have to pay. Also it’s a little bit complicated and you have to learn how to use it but that really isn’t a problem. I wish I could give this app 3 stars and 1/2 but I can’t so 4 stars it is. As I was saying, it takes but most of your storage because either you have to record the videos on your camera or record it on the app but it puts it in your photos and videos and you can’t delete them. You might be thinking well after we finish we can save the entire video and delete the others right? True. But what if you want to edit it after that? Well that’s the problem. It won’t let you because you deleted them. The other thing is most of the things you have to pay for because they are pro. I don’t think that’s fair. At all. So please update it and fix it! Thank you in advance if you do.

Villo is amazingly good. Here is my feedback.

I think Villo is a really great app and one of the best mobile editors ever. It has really cool features and it’s really easy to use. But here are somethings that might be really cool for them to add. 1: green screen background. It would be really cool if there was a way to add green screen support to the app, so we could do really cool stuff with that. 2: 3D text. One of the biggest feature I see video editors don’t have it 3D text, so like when the camera is moving, the text could stay in the same spot not moving with the camera. And maybe you could see the sides of the text too. 3: another this is maybe horizontal mode. Horizontal mode would be very use for some people that maybe want to see the video easier and stuff. I think these things would make the app the best app on mobile. Continue making the app great :)

Just a quick suggestion

I love this app because I can make movies but I have a little suggestion and a complaint, the complaint I have about this app is that if you delete a picture in your photos, the app deletes it too in the movie that it’s in, I went through one of my movies and a lot of my pictures were missing and it said that the picture was deleted and the movie deleted it and I can’t get the picture back because my iCloud storage is full and which means if I delete a photo I can’t get the photo back, I don’t like that the movie also deletes the picture if you delete it because I didn’t know it could do this and I don’t like it, my suggestion is to please find someway to fix/remove this feature because it’s really annoying and I don’t like it, but I’m still giving this app 5 stars because it’s an amazing video editing app to make Gacha life movies and shorts, thank you!
