Voice Diary - Keep moments 4+

My first experience recording, I made several lengthy recordings. My phone auto-locked during recording, but when I unlocked the time indicated that it was continuing to record. (It was not). Upon playback, the length of the time only reflected the time it was not locked, during the locked time nothing was recorded. (Example, during record time I spoke for three minutes. It auto-locked after one, but when I unlocked it read three minutes and going on recording. But the playback file only had 1 minute of audio)

This could have been disastrous if I was recording anything meaningful and didn't run tests first to make sure all my stuff was really recorded. It's a pretty big flaw, otherwise this program is a 5.

Update to review: I took a while off from using diaries, and came back trying to sign in with what I’ve always used as my passcode for this diary. I contacted support and was told due to privacy and convenience they cannot help me. This was a huge flaw for me...many platforms create a way to reset your password. This needs to happen on this app and if it can’t, not for me anymore!!!

I use this app every single day sometimes multiple times a day to record myself as if I'm writing in her diary... it really helps to get things off my mind and feels like I'm talking to someone because I'm being recorded, very therapeutic. I even write in a diary so I am A very detailed person. I love this app and deleted it one time last year to see if I could live without it but could not for even one day😊. There's not a single app out there like this and I would not give this up for anything else since it helps me so much with getting things off my mind. I love that I can tag recordings and I can search for keywords so if I need to go back and find anything I can easily. It also has a passcode which is a must when you use this as a diary. One thing I wish it had was a better looking theme or different ways to organize it and it would be perfect!

Voicing things instead of writing things has become more important to me. I’ve felt the former to be more meaningful and effective. I would pay money for the options to record longer clips and be able to change speed settings when I replay clips. AI speech recognition is a great component and I give mad props to the creator for adding it as I wasn’t expecting an audio diary app to foresee my need for it. However, for some reason, it stops transcribing maybe 20-30 seconds before the 2 minutes are up. I am therefore missing about 20-30 seconds of transcription despite the audio recording upon playback being a full 2 minutes.
