Don't let the nay sayers tell you, that u cant be safe with a free VPN & that it won't be fast! This vpn is perfect! A solid 10 star, 2 thumbs up, & a standing ovation. It does exactly what they advertise, the UI is amazing, its fast as you know what, & I feel completely protected. Thank you to the developers, for all of the obvious hardwork you clearly put in to it. I promise on my grandkids as soon as I'm financially able, I will buy this app. You should also put in the app, for tips of any amt ppl want to give you as well. I for one would like to give extra besides buying the app. I don't buy apps normally but this one is too perfect!

Like I said in the title of this review- it’s free but it only runs for a few minutes.Which this does destroy its purpose a bit as we always have to be reconnecting the VPN and it gets annoying- we would like to have the VPN running every single day, every single time, NON STOP. This VPN stops running which is a major issue because it stops running only after like a few minutes has past- and this just makes me feel like it’s not even worth having this VPN at all if it just keeps disconnecting itself.I will be uninstalling this app. Hopefully, only, temporarily until this improves and the problem is removed. Hopefully, the owner of the app could get back to this review with a solution or at least they try to fix the issue and make the fix as an update for this app.However, I am saying this with all the respect I can have for this app, because this is still a pretty good app if you just want a whatever VPN..- yeah that didn’t sound right but you get my point. Hopefully, I see improvements later on in the future if I come across this again, you are all so lovely creators of the app and I appreciate your hard efforts that you put in it just for it to be able to run.Is there anything else that needs to be improved? No, there are barely any ads too complain about and the problem that I explained in this review is a major one unfortunately but I feel like this could be an easy fix for the creators. Do have to admit that this VON works very good, better than certain paid subscriptions out there. It’s free, easy to use and it has different locations to choose from. But there are two problems, which is that the internet speed is occasionally laggy and slow when using the VPN. Also when I'm done using the VPN it causes my phone to not be able to use nearby networks. I don’t know if it’s my iPhone’s problem or if it’s the app that causing it but it needs to be optimized.

I live in China. Needed a new vpn so decided to give this a try. Used the free option for several weeks and it worked pretty good (for some simple personal things). So decided to pay the subscription for the premium app to get better uses for things needed for work…. for me the paid app didn’t work AT ALL?!?! Was very confused but canceled the premium subscription, went back to the free part and will find something else for work. So this has actually worked quite well for a free app for quite a while but now it has pretty much stopped working would prefer to contact them rather than post bad review, but no way to do so.

I use VPN Cat every single day. It works pretty well and it's truly free. Unlike some other ad-based VPNs, the ads here are appropriate for a general audience, which I appreciate. Since I live behind the Great Firewall, this is basically a lifesaver. It's helpful that there are several country connections to choose from, especially during more politically sensitive time periods when connectivity is temporarily more difficult. I've been using VPN Cat exclusively for several years now. Long may it keep working!

Well, I have to admit that this app is really good: free and useful. I tend to use it when browsing websites. The UI is simple but cool. Although there are ads, it’s totally OK. However, there are some problems which really bother me. First, the VPN is often automatically disconnected, and sometimes the setting displays that the VPN is connected while in app it has been disconnected. Also, I can not get access to Wikipedia using this app. The website says that the connection is not secure, and in Wikipedia app it details that the IP address is blocked. How can a VPN meant to be secure be insecure.

definitely the best one i've come across on the app store for sure. it doesn't stress you out with tons of adds and the adds it does show are able to be skipped just a few seconds in and there's only ONE ADD required to watch (or skip) in order to turn on the vpn. it's so stress free except for the fact that it will cut you off the vpn randomly without notice like an hour or so into using it so that's something you'd have to watch for but yeah five stars.. this app is worth it all.

I was using the app for a while and never disappointed. However lately for couple of weeks was trying to change countries and removing and allowing configuration for so many times and von just does not connect. My mom is using same app with same wifi and type of phone and its connects perfectly so I am not sure why it does that with my phone. If anyone could have a look and update these bugs would be helpful as I use the app 24/7

I've subscribed to your service and my subscription is valid until May 18th. However, every time I try to use it, I'm presented with two options: Free VPN or High-Speed VPN. I've chosen the High-Speed VPN option since I've already subscribed, but the screen keeps telling me I'm not subscribed and prompting me to subscribe again. This is frustrating, especially since I've already been charged for the service. To make matters worse, there's no customer support available, and I couldn't find any contact information on Facebook. I'm really disappointed with the service I'm receiving.
