Update seemed to have been

Prior to the IPSEC update, I found this a good app that was easy to use. I had good experiences with their tech support. However, after they changed to IPSEC, my iPad began dropping its WiFi connections and other apps seemed to develop problems; after deleting the app, I now find I must reset the iPad daily to maintain WiFi connections. Perhaps coincidental, but my iPhone went through similar problems.

After getting Apple to replace my iPad, still under warranty, it seems the WiFi drops were more due to flaws introduced in an iOS update made around the same time this app’s update appeared. After deleting this app and applying another iOS update or two, the WiFi seems OK now, so I will try using VPNSecure again.

Update does NOT work.

Update: In current state this app crashes every time it tries to connect to a server. Total waste of your time at this point.

Before: I finally got the update working on both my iPhone and IPad, after a seemingly unnecessary struggle and lots of deleting and reinstall that didn't help. It actually does seem to be holding connections to server much better than it used to on iOS. I think the only thing I finally did differently but can't swear too, was after logging in to VPNSecure and before I actually connected to s server, I went in and I made sure I picked the correct amount of encryption I had originally chosen. I had the benefit of being able to check it on my mac. In Settings it still claim it's an IPSec connection but they say it is now openVPN instead. Keep trying it will work and it seems they fixed the one thing I felt was broke, disconnecting. Who knows in a day or two I may eat my words on that.

PLEASE FIX - Buggy update

When I first started using this, it was amazing. Fast and reliable VPN connection (not an oxymoron!). Plus it was easy and automatic to connect. But after presumably successful ad campaigns on stacksocial brining in lots of customers, speed has suffered, tech support has suffered, and the app is now buggy.

I haven't used this app in over a month. Why? Ever since the update, it would randomly drop the VPN connection, get caught in an infinite loop of trying to reconnect, AND I couldn't disconnect VPN servers from the app. This is a major problem because it kills your cell connection too. Had to do several hard resets / airplane mode to restore regular connectivity, and I finally gave up.

Please increase tech support staff / please fix!
