Now that that’s out of the way, here’s my review. I’m currently switching from 3D to 2D models and was recommended VTube studio as a replacement for VUP. While the app is a tad bit tedious to understand at first, it doesn’t take long to figure things out. The facial tracking is great, it’s nice to finally find something stable enough to follow my eye movements without making them flicker and dart around constantly any time I glance in another direction. My one and only gripe would be the fact that without the pro version, you can only stream for 5 minutes at a time if you’re streaming to your PC. Sure you can start it up again and again but it’s very tedious to do. Alas, I understand that it costs money to keep this program going as well as continue keeping up with maintenance and support, so I’ll probably end up just paying the $22 bucks at some point.

This is really a GREAT app!! This is an app where you don’t actually have to use pro to get good app quality!! Which is really good!! Even with the provided characters, you can edit it a little bit!! Although there is ONE THING. . . I would like better instructions on how to import your own character because I can’t figure it out. 😗 the instructions are too complex for me 🥲. It would help a lot if you could get into more detail and Debth. Because I searched it up on iTunes and I can’t find it 😭! It could help if you could fix that, or maybe even better, be able to do it on the app itself?? 🤨 please??? Pretty please?? Anyways besides that, it’s like the bestest app ever for v tubing that I can find right now :) it has all the basic nesesiteas and other stuff like that and it’s not too complex so my dumby dumb dumb brain can actually understand it :).

I’ve seen so many people confused on how to import your own model, and its pretty upsetting(if you’re on a mobile device, if you have a file viewer, enter there, you may or may not be able to find vtube studio, then live2Dmodels, and drag the folder of your character there), i know i just said how to do it, but people still have a hard time learning how to! If you don’t already, you should have some sort of YT so you can send people there if they don’t know how to, but other than that, the app is nice.
