The app has really come a long way from it used to be. The visual search feature works really well and is pretty accurate. I would like to see more relevant recommendations in the future and more consistency with the web apps. Great job Grainger team!

How I use this App

I use this app primarily for checking availability of tools, parts and supplies. Since I work city wide I also check for which Grainger location closest to me has what I need, If the item I need is not locally available I can inform my customers of this and scheduled their repair work accordingly. Most of the items I require are locally available or a just 1 will call day away, but on occasion items are 3 to 5 days out. With this App I am better able to keep my customers updated and my schedule flowing.

Terrible

I was excited to see an update, but immediately frustrated and let down....again. Our company does all of its ordering through Grainger, personally a lot of the prices are high, but the expedited arrival of the product is very convenient. The website and app are equally as frustrating. When searching for a product, using the exact name for a product (as assigned by Granger or manufacturer) will almost always produce zero results! How is this even possible? It is impossible to find what you were looking for and even more frustrating the add on, or related items are not listed. I feel as though Granger sales would double if convenience of the consumer through the website would be addressed. Anyone at Granger feel free to give me a shout if you need some help… smh. I will happily change my rating if I'm ever impressed. Just my two cents and one star.

We are also working to improve available search options in upcoming releases.
