A better way to wake up.
Wakē is an intelligent bedroom robot that wakes people individually using focused beams of light and sound. The Wakē app allows up to two people to use a single Wakē device through an interface that's as easy as a typical alarm clock app. Each person using Wakē must download and install a Wakē app for their smartphone.
* Simulated Sunrise - Wakē uses gentle light and sound to gently rouse you out of sleep, the way nature intended.
* Targeted Wake Up - Wakē uses cutting-edge technology to wake you up, allowing your partner to continue sleeping.
* Smart Design - Thoughtful design means Wakē will look great in any home, plus it's battery powered, so there are no wires to hide.
Wakē's app has been redesigned for support of Wakē v2! This new version of Wakē mounts closer to the bed, providing a more directed wakeup experience. We've removed the batteries and replaced the power cord with a standard USB cable to increase reliability and easy-of-use. We've also redesigned Wakē and the app to communicate locally over your wireless network; this both increases app performance and keeps your data secure locally!

Not exactly what I hoped
I loved the idea of Wake v2 when I supported the Kickstarter. However, I was disappointed upon delivery to learn I was basically a beta tester for the unit and the app.
There are still bugs connecting the device and improvements to be made to the app such as adding an on/off time to the Moods feature and the reading light (the button to turn the reading light on/off is tricky to find). All the sliding on/off switches on the alarm setup and the rebounding time sliders when you open an alarm to make an adjustment adds to the confusion of knowing if the alarm is truly set correctly.
Your room needs to be completely devoid of sound and light for this unit to be effective and I sleep with a partner who has a CPAP and sleeps with a white noise machine. So the soft alarm sounds without a volume adjustment (you can adjust the volume in the Moods panel, but not the alarm panel) means I have not abandoned a conventional alarm as a final back up.
V1 End of Life
I’m disappointed that out v1 unit is no longer useable due to the app update.
A little clunky but works just fine
Not super polished but it gets the job done as an app to control the wakey device
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
