Average headphones

They are decent headphones nothing special just average hopefully they realize the upside of making a little less profits short term for better profits long term by giving a better higher quality product that sells by word of mouth because of the quality and becomes known as the best value based off of quality of there product pinching Pennie’s and making a sub par product for short term gain in no longer what the consumer wants just make a great product that stands the test of time

Noise-Canceling Power for the Gun Range

This app is a game-changer for shooting at the gun range. The noise cancellation features when connected to my wireless headphones are mind-blowing. Gunfire is tamed, leaving crystal-clear audio. The app also offers an impressive range of customizable settings. I can adjust the intensity of the noise cancellation to match my surroundings and personal preferences. The precision of these controls allows me to stay focused on my targets while still staying aware of important range instructions. If you're an avid shooter looking for a game-changing addition to your range gear, this app is an absolute must-have. Its advanced noise cancellation features have elevated my shooting sessions to a whole new level. I've even found myself using these headphones outside of shooting activities, simply because the noise cancellation is just that good! Trust me, you won't regret giving it a try!

Keep up the incredible work, developers at Walkers. You've earned a lifelong fan.

Great buds, atrocious app

The Walker’s Silencer 2.0 buds are fantastic in most aspects. Using them for hearing enhancement(2 setting) and listening to music at medium volume they lasted 5 hrs straight, so not bad. Only complaint about the buds is that you can use the left alone if you want to, but not the right. It’s either left or both. Now, the app is a different story. If the app was even decent I wouldn’t be considering sending them back(still on the fence). Of the 100 times ive opened, closed, deleted and reinstalled the app it always says the buds are at 17% battery life. I know the buds are charging to higher than 17 if they last 5 hours utilizing all features. Also, anytime you swipe away from the app to do something else and go back the app will not connect so you have to close and reopen, then wait 20-30 seconds plus for it to connect so you can control the earbuds. Also, no way to turn hearing enhancement on/off without using the app so you do need the app to use the buds.

They worked great….until they didn’t.

First few times connecting they worked great. Now I have to delete then re-download the app, take them out to power them down then restart them. Then, only one or the other works but not both. When they work, eventually, they’re awesome. Great noise cancelling and with the adjustable ambient noise feature it really blocks out what you don’t want. Tried using them biking, but the mic picks up the wind and makes it impossible to hear anything else when the “pass through” feature is activated so I ended up turning off the ambient volume which is kind of dangerous when you’re riding on the road. The buds are great for hearing pro but if you want the added connectivity then the app becomes a liability. Fixing the app will get a five star rating.

Aggravating!

The earbuds connect to my phone every time. How ever the app shows they are not connected most of the time. When the app does show it is connected, it loses connection and constantly says “Silencer Link Lost”. This is EXTREMELY aggravating as it will continue to say it over and over at a volume that is way too loud! Another glitch is when the earbuds are connected, each earbud is at a different volume. I keep both set at 2 but somehow they are different every time I turn them on. VERY DISAPPOINTING! This needs to be fixed ASAP. Unfortunately this happens whether I open the app or not. As for the earbuds them selves, they do work great hunting. They provide ample sound enhancement and provide great hearing protection when you fire your rifle. Now all that is needed is to make all elements work together!

Excellent Product

Wow! What a great product and loads of features. I tried a more expensive brand that forced you to use small hearing aid batteries and a flimsy mechanism to hold the battery and it was a design and use nightmare. I saw these and it checked all the boxes These earbuds with rechargeable batteries, a nice charging case, and Bluetooth compatible and a nice App to control everything. These earbuds Rock!! They come with several ear cushions that make fitment a breeze. The options for ambient to silent suppression are really good. Really comfortable to wear. Well done and highly recommended!!

App has connectivity issues

I’ll change my rating to 5 star once they fix the connectivity issues. I constantly have to force close and re-open the app to get the headphones to show up in the app. They stay connected to the phone, just won’t show in app. It’s also very annoying that they constantly revert back to un-linked when changing the ambient noise level. I want both at the same time to always adjust at the same time. I do not want to adjust each one separate. I don't see the need for separate. The headphones do not keep that preference saved when the app disconnects all the time.

Good Ambient Noise Control, Bad Instructions.

I bought the Walker XV 3.0 w/Bluetooth primarily for range use.
The articles I read were favorable.
I’ve had several pairs of earbuds for different purposes.
But these fit really well and drown out all the background noise when I put the volume all the way down and play music on low, there’s no background noise.
That’s satisfying because I can use it in the work place noisy “cube pit”.
I have not yet tried them at the range.
To some degree it is disappointing to see that they don’t address range use in the instructions.
One would think I need to turn the ambient noise off and change the Listening Mode to High Frequency Boost. But it’s not obvious to me how to switch the settings for the range.
The instructions are also incorrect regarding Bluetooth volume controls.
They are opposite of how it functions.

Hearing aid and phone connection

Just received them so far excellent. Love the way they work like a hearing aid. I can actually hear my wife talk now. Only one suggestion the wire that goes behind your head should be lowered to go around your neck so when you sit down, you could rest your head against something was able to hook up to my phone and use it as a hearing aid. Cost for what it does. Excellent there is some background noise but OK I can hear

The new app is working great now

The new app is simple and works great. I did have some trouble getting it to work initially. I had to delete all walkers apps from my phone (there were a couple). Then after following the directions in the Walkers Link app I was able to pair them with my phone and get the app to connect and talk with them.
Thanks walkers! What a fantastic product!
