UPDATE: still doesn’t work!
First app I’ve ever paid for and it doesn’t work. We wanted it for our small group travel while abroad. If you’re on WiFi AND have the app open, fine; however, it was purchased to work on airplane mode without having to be connected to WiFi (as stated in the description) but it didn’t work.
Developer Response ,
Hi GA Kitty,
Many thanks for the feedback. Apple Multipeer Connectivity is disabled when devices have airplane mode initially activated as it disables all radios (cellular, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) by default. You can still use the App by selectivity enabling Wi-Fi and Bluetooth after airplane mode is enabled (if the airline allows it). Make sure you and your friends have the same Channel selected in Settings.
UPDATE: Please see our support page for instructions and screenshots on using the App whilst Airplane mode is enabled.
I want my money back
This doesn’t work at all. Connection comes and goes even from 10 feet away. Voice messages eerily repeat and come out of order. Connection sometimes works in one direction briefly but not the other. Apple - why can’t you take this ripoff down from your store?
Does every thing it says, but the range without WiFi is about thirty feet. I need more than that.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
