Critical crash fix for starting travel logging from an appointment.

FIXED: Appointment cancelling now listens to the bell icon. If its on a cancellation message will be sent if it’s off a message won’t be sent. FIXED: Tapping start on a “other” type service marks it as started. FIXED: Adding busy blocks to your calendar previously got stuck loading when you tried to save, now that’s fixed. FIXED: Saving pet details as “unknown” now works. FIXED: All externally imported events now show on the week view, not just the last selected day. FIXED: You can no longer open an external event in the app. This caused the app to be in a weird not true state. FIXED: Crash that could occur when making custom updates if you opened he select service types screen and then closed it again without selecting a type. ADDED: Turn off the Odometer prompt before each travel log in settings > personal > activity settings ADDED: The app now remembers your last saved odometer reading and pre-fills it, meaning that in theory all you have to do is enter the reading at the beginning of the day and then the app will keep it up to date throughout your travels. Maybe give this a try before turning it off. This also means updating the amount is easier than entering it all in from scratch if you do need to change it. FIXED: App used km instead of miles and vice versa for some people. FIXED: Overlap messages doesn't show when you try and update an appointment unless it overlaps another appointment. ADDED: You can now make it so custom activity updates only show for specific service types. For example, why would anyone need “Sorted trash” whilst they were on a walk? You can set this so that it appears only for drop ins. ADDED: Access client information directly from the activity, activity details and pet sitting details screens by tapping the new person icon. ADDED: Track your start and end odometer readings for travel logs. The app will try and work out the end reading based on the start reading and adding the distance travelled. ADDED: Edit a travel log after it has been ended. ADDED: Map when manually creating a travel log. IMPROVED: New simple travel log tracking screen that is like tracking a walk. IMPROVED: Travel logging now supports kilometers. IMPROVED: After starting a travel log from an appointment the travel log screen will open and the travel log button is immediately removed from the appointment. ADDED: Increase poops and pees from your Lock Screen. This works for any walks or taxis that have just one dog in them. If you start a 5 dog walk and you don’t group them you’ll get 5 walks and all of them can have the pees and poops updated from the Lock Screen. ADDED: See the address of a client in the directions menu that is shown when tapping the direction button on an appointment. ADDED: Hide checklists, pee count, and poop count from report card pictures. Change this setting in settings > personal > activity settings. IMPROVED: Moved reactivity notes into the key info section of pet details at the top of the screen. IMPROVED: How dates are shown on report card pictures. IMPROVED: Generating a report card picture is now quicker. FIXED: Pee and poop count issues with Apple Watch. ADDED: See your team members move in realtime on the map for walks and taxis. Just tap a walk > details > tap map. IMPROVED: Move the pet details that can show warnings and notes to the top of pet details. So tapping on a pet with an orange warning will show you the key info straight away with no need to scroll. IMPROVED: Made warning icons and status icons on images a little smaller and are now the same across all places you see them. IMPROVED: Deleting pees and poops from the map during tracking or the timeline from a completed activity now also decreases the pee and poop count. IMPROVED: Marks in pet details shows a question mark icon if unknown instead of a warning icon. IMPROVED: Minor image and placeholder text behaviors to make it feel more solid. FIXED: Tapping a pet’s vet phone number now presents phone options.

They won’t be added to the map if you add them on the notes screen, this way you can add any you have missed at the end and it won’t just show a pile of pees and poops in one spot. In this update the completed Activity Details screen is now basically the same as the Pet Sitting Details screen, so this should make the app overall that little more simple to use. All activities have timelines, details, pets, notes, and a gallery now, all that differs is the type of updates you can add to the timeline and how a live walk/taxi is shown vs a live pet sitting. A live walk/taxi shows a map whilst a live pet sitting shows a timeline. ADDED: View a timeline of map updates in completed walk/taxi details. You can also add more updates from here. ADDED: Duration row to completed pet sitting details screen. ADDED: Add pets to a completed walk or taxi. ADDED: Tap a pet in activity details to open their info IMPROVED: Better looking timelines. IMPROVED: Moved timer to the left on pet sittings so that it has more space. IMPROVED: Updated how note fields work on completed walks/taxis, pet sittings, and invoices. ADDED: This is a fun one! You can now add updates to your walk routes so your clients can see what you did along your walk route. These have a few preset options but you can also add your own custom options that are also used in pet sittings. IMPROVED: Bigger buttons on the appointment cards so tapping “Start” and other buttons should be a lot an easier. The buttons on the activity cards and picked up cards are also bigger. UPDATED: Removed the thing that showed which way you were looking. A few people didn’t like it. IMPROVED: Minor improvements to layout here and there. FIXED: Lock Screen widgets (Live Activities) now work again in iOS versions before iOS18. FIXED: A rare crash that could happen when starting an activity.

Stability improvements.

ADDED: New message button when tracking a walk or taxi and when viewing a pet sitting or finished walk. This makes it easy to instant message your clients that have the client app as you don’t have to go and find them on the inbox tab. This is just for admins right now. ADDED: Delete button at the top of bulletins as tapping and holding delete wasn’t obvious. IMPROVED: Bigger notes, photo, and video buttons on walk and taxi tracking so they are easier to tap. They now also look better on smaller devices. FIXED: Decline button in appointment details being the wrong color. FIXED: There could have been some rare crashes introduced in the last version, hopefully this stops them.

ADDED: Control centre widget to open Walkies from your Lock Screen, Action Button, or control centre. ADDED: Custom pet sitting update types. If you want a quick “Brought the trash in” button or “dog ate your mail” button you can now make those and add them easily to your timelines. ADDED: Team members can now view all appointment details by tapping to open the sitting but pricing and editing is hidden. This comes with a variety of button fixes and menu fixes around the appointment list and calendar for team members. ADDED: Set if a pet marks on a pet’s details. ADDED: iOS18 iPad tab bar style IMPROVED: Updated maps. They now load faster, use less energy, and are smoother to use. The screens and menus on the tracking screen no longer lag when scrolling. When tracking the map will also show which way you are facing. IMPROVED: You can now set pet information to unknown, not just yes or no. IMPROVED: If you’re in the US it will now say leash instead of lead. IMPROVED: Removed the default checklists for water, food, and medication so you just have the ones you want. Add your own checklist items in settings. IMPROVED: The app now listens to activities from your team members. Activities on your Home screen that belong to your team members will now show and hide automatically. No need to refresh the page anymore. CHANGED: Remove the create button from the Home screen, it was rarely used and a bit of a distraction. FIXED: The app now only shows your own activities on the Lock Screen which means you won't get any stuck there from other team members anymore. FIXED: Travel log list team member filtering. FIXED: When deleting a live pet sitting it didn’t close the pet sitting screen. FIXED: Status bar being white for the activities screen on first launch. FIXED: A bug where adding or removing items from an activity checklist after an activity had ended wouldn’t work.

MINOR IMPROVEMENT: Better empty description for client checklist item list with an activity. FIXED: If you opened a pet sitting from the "view" button then when you tapped end it wouldn't close.

IMPROVED: Checklists can be reordered when you create or edit them in settings. IMPROVED: Checklists appear in reports in the order you have them saved. No more forcing them to be in alphabetical order. IMPROVED: Added buttons to delete unwanted checklist items. FIXED: You can remove all pets from a checklist.

ADDED: Custom checklists to report card images. This was missed during the checklist release! They are there now. IMPROVED: Pet sittings could get stuck when ending, this should make sure they close now.

FIXED: New location tracking for pet sittings could add the wrong location on teams with more than one member. This now only adds the location of the team member doing the pet sitting.
