Walkies: Pet Walking & Sitting 4+

Practically perfect and still getting better

This app is a dream come true, and I can’t imagine a better value. I had been a single person operation for years, but once the Covid vaccines came out and people started traveling after being cooped up for two years, I had more bookings than I could cover on my own. I’ve hired 6 different contractors this year, and I don’t know what I would do without Walkies. I can schedule appointments, assign them to different team members, see their work in real time, and see their notes and photos for the client. It has been awesome to have this reassurance that they are providing the same level of care as I do.

And just like some of the other reviewers said, the customer support is amazing. I’m not sure when the developer actually sleeps! He’s across the ocean and still gets back to most of my questions within a few hours, no matter what time I send them. There are no cut-and-paste answers - it’s a real conversation. If it’s an issue with my account, he will find the booking and manually fix it. If there’s a bug in the app, he is literally releasing updates the next day. He’s even created a Discord channel where users can chat with each other and with him, so it’s like a whole community of support not just for using the app but for running our actual businesses. I can’t imagine ever using anything else.

Not only is this app constantly getting better and better, the developer is just one person so all of my requests have been genuinely heard! New features are being added constantly and any time I have an issue, it’s resolved quickly and directly. I LOVE being able to message the same person every time! Best customer service I’ve ever received. I used to work for one of the big dog walker companies, but now I’m on my own, and this app is keeping my business afloat with all the capabilities. My clients love all the features too! I’ve been using the app for a couple years now, and it’s the best one I’ve tried. 12/10 would recommend for any independent pet caregivers out there!!!

Fantastic App!

I started using Walkies several months ago and I really love it! I am also really looking forward to the upcoming major update that will make it even better. This is a very complete and well structured app. The interface is intuitive and I have had very few technical issues. It has everything you need: client info, pet info, notes, gps tracking, invoicing, and more. Every time I ran into an issue, or had a suggestion, I contacted Rob, the developer, and he always personally responded in a very short period of time. He is even including some of my suggested improvements in the upcoming update. I have already recommended this app to numerous other walkers and sitters I know. I have the Pro subscription and could not be happier. Highly recommend!
