App is having recent issues
I’ve had this app for nearly 2 years but it is only in the past 6 aka that I’m having trouble with the app not working. It won’t open past the initial pink logo page. I do not have a new phone or update so I’m not sure what has happened.
Further, the when steaming items, it at times does not accept the “ accept” or “decline” and I have repeatedly tap the icon. It is frustrating when I decline an item and it finally accepts, but the item keeps appearing as if Wantable wants to force me to finally accept it.
It would be nice to be able to see the items you have declined over time. So many things are similar and you cannot enclosure to get a good look when on a phone or tablet. Further adding prices to this would be beneficial for many people because they may like it but would never purchase due to price.
Wantable has been hit and miss regarding getting my style right. It does seem that when they do get it right, they don’t follow up with another good box, even with detailed notes. It would be nice to be able to see all notes that I’ve sent over time (This may be an option if not on phone).
The app needs work but generally has good features; it’s just inconsistent.
Lots of bugs
I just re downloaded the app after a long hiatus and had a lot of issues in the 10-15 minutes I spent trying to place an order. First I received error messages when trying to update my profile/account information. Then my information would appear to save (namely my picture) but wouldn’t be there when I went back to my profile. I don’t like how you can’t edit your stylist notes without clicking through the entire style quiz. Also my closet appears empty even though I have purchased many items in the past, so obviously my account data was lost or wiped at some point. I had trouble with the style stream too. I kept requesting/declining items but my selections wouldn’t stick. I tried to narrow the stream using filters, but the drop down menus were slow to appear and made it difficult to select filters, then I couldn’t get the filter drop down menu to go away. The stream also showed lots of items that I “disliked” in the style quiz, even though it was supposedly showing me items that matched my style quiz results. Also you can’t easily return to where you just were in the app, as the “back” button doesn’t allow the app to reload properly.
I keep getting the opposite of what I have requested
I don’t know if the app doesn’t work or if my stylist just doesn’t bother to read my note for the upcoming box, but twice now I have received the exact opposite of what I requested. A few months ago, I ordered a fitness box and requested ONLY PANTS — when I received my box, there were four bras in in it and only three pairs of pants. I have trouble finding pants that fit, so I thought that by trying 7 pairs, I would be more likely to find a pair that fit. With only three pairs to try, none of them fit, and I ended up keeping a bra I didn’t need just so that I wouldn’t waste my $20 styling fee. This month, I left a note for my stylist saying that I am moving to Los Angeles in a few months and need some warm weather clothes — I also specifically said that I would like to focus on tops but wouldn’t mind also trying a maxi dress or skirt. The box I received has ONE short sleeved top. ONE. Along with that, I got a leather jacket, a heavy sweater, a long-sleeved T-shirt, a long-sleeved flannel, a pair of jeans, and a bracelet that I don’t need. What frustrates me is that AGAIN, I spent $20 to get a box of clothes that I absolutely don’t need. I am about to cancel my account because $20 per box adds up and I don’t want to keep wasting my money.
