Well worth the money for the local updates on everything straight to your Phone!

I've been following Watauga Roads on Facebook since its beginning, and it's always been a great resource for road information, which is VERY important in this snowy, icy, wreck-prone county. The app is even better- it sends notifications to my phone whenever there's an issue with travel: wrecks, roadwork, closures, etc. It's only been available for a few weeks and it's already been a sanity saver, sending me alerts about a number of road closures due to wrecks and road work. It will be really wonderful this winter when we always have travel issues.

This is the best “purchased” app ever. Highly recommend it to anyone that lives in Watauga county. Watauga County Road Conditions and Weather Updates has been an essential part of our area since it made it’s debut to Facebook in December of 2010. This app follows right behind it. The thing I love best is the “notifications” that are pushed to my phone. Not intrusive notifications. They alert you of accidents, road delays, weather alerts, etc. Great job!
