Description

How many watts are being supplied to my MacBook?

WattageViewer shows in the top MenuBar how many watts of charge are being supplied from the charger to the MacBook.

USB Type-C standard charging is complex and varies depending on the corresponding conditions of the adapter, cable, and device itself.
If the device is not powered properly, it will waste battery power and degrade performance.
Also, powering with higher wattage can charge the battery faster.

You can always see how many watts your device is powered by from the power information residing in the MenuBar.

This app has clear purpose in mind. To read I/O feed in decimal then transfer it to eye-friendly.

With Help of this app. I can have more options when comes to charging my gears.

When it comes power hungry applications. I will had use 140watts to get job done. Otherwise a 86w will be friendly to Li-battery, to catch a breath.

One thing tho. Electronics are somehow behaves like to our body. It had has up & down. All this are activities depended. In other words energe are not staticly balanced out, But In constantly changing floating stats.

To point out that this app has some greatly potential in this category.

In 2023. We getting more ports in laptops. Opened up abilities to hook up more accessories. It's sounds combersome when you dont know how long exact it gonna take to charge you gear up. If this app when well and can tell which port draw details in output. It could save lots times in research and testing.

Does the job

It is a very simple toolbar utility that does the job. Results seem to be accurate. I am using it to validate different DC Car Chargers on my 2019 Macbook Pro 16in.
