Immerse yourself in 100s of workouts from world class athletes and coaches, including the New Zealand All Blacks.

Before you jump into a workout or plan, we recommend you benchmark your fitness with the 20 Minute Test or Submax Health Assessment test to establish your Functional Threshold Power (FTP). This allows the Wattbike Hub to personalise your sessions to your ability.

Beginner, intermediate or advanced, fundamentals or event-specific, the Hub hosts a variety of training plans to suit your training needs.

Feeling competitive? Get involved in regular Wattbiker challenges and win some exciting prizes.

On the Wattbike Atom (next generation), you can customise your virtual gearing and shifter setup to mimic outdoor riding. Choose from 5 different groupsets: compact, semi-compact, climbing, 11 speed or 22 speed, and personalise your shifter configuration to suit your riding style.

Improve your pedalling technique with instant feedback on your left / right leg balance. Our proprietary Pedal Effectiveness Score (PES) combined with Polar View will show you where you can become more effective, and ride faster for longer.

Share your workouts to Apple Health, Strava and TrainingPeaks.

Connect your Bluetooth or ANT+ enabled heart rate monitor to view and keep track of your HR during exercise, helping you train more efficiently.

We’re always working on making improvements to Wattbike Hub - if you have any feedback? Please contact us at support.wattbike.com

What’s New

Version 5.2.1

Wattbike Hub v.5.2.1 resolves a bug with the speed algorithm when using custom gears. It also introduces new firmware 1.03.51 (stable) and 6.03.51 (beta) for Atom (next generation). The updated firmware fixes a bug with the pause button which meant the session wasn't actually stopping when paused, and a bug which caused some Wattbikers to intermittently see a ‘0w’ power reading. AtomX & Nucleus users will now be able to login using the Hub's QR Scanner again.

Ride not recorded 😠

I’m not sure if the update has something to do with what just happened but I was doing a ride and got a text message, went out of the wattbike app but not closing it and when I wanted to get back in othing was showing from my current ride. It shows on my bike but obviously it looks like I lost all I have done today.

Developer Response ,

Hi Cdevilliers, sorry to hear you're having some trouble when switching between apps. Please could you create a support ticket at https://support.wattbike.com and give details of the workout, your device & operating system? (or if you create a support ticket from within the app we'll be able to see a diagnostics report which includes your device & operating system, then please add details to the ticket about the workout, the other apps running, what you did, what you saw etc.) and we will investigate this. Thank you

Great app with some usability quirks

The app has been working great for me. My only complaints are the size of the in-app shifter buttons, which are these tiny triangles inside big boxes. Whenever I try to tap onto the triangles I seem to miss and the gears don’t change. Why can’t the full box simply react on touch input?
Switching back and forth between apps has been working fine for me - at least on my iPhone/iPad. When I start a ride and click onto the “play” button I sometimes get my bike ID displayed. Then I have to go back and do the same thing again and it will start.

Developer Response ,

Hi cyclone72, thanks for your review and providing some really detailed feedback. We'll share the feedback on the shifter buttons with the Product team to investigate, on our integrated touchscreen that is how they work so they are nice and easy to press, and that should be the case in iOS too. After you've connected to a bike once and have your bike stored in known Wattbikes, when you start a ride, the bike id should appear and the circle should turn green when it automatically reconnects to the remembered bike, if that isn't happening then it would be good to troubleshoot - for example check no other apps are still connected to the bike, also try powering off and back on the bike - but if you need support there you can reach us via https://support.wattbike.com. Thank you

Awful experience from start to finish

I have had nothing but problem since getting Wattbike and using app. First bike had to be replaced entirely after calling engineer three times. Replacement bike worked briefly then again started glitching with bike not response gear changes. Customer service experience very disappointing log a ticket with 3rd party app and get an email response 3 to 5 days later with no capacity to speak to anyone. A very disappointing experience for a very expensive piece of equipment. Please don’t respond and ask me to end a ticket to Wattbike support.

Developer Response ,

Hi Caledonianyank, very sorry to hear about your experience and that you've been having these issues. Please do reach out to us so we can try and rectify things for you, we do have a phone line (appreciate this might not be possible due to location) but if you have some alternative contact method one of the technical team could use this to reach you. Thank you
