Description
The WaveCAST Receiver app allows users to stream high-quality audio from any WaveCAST enabled venue directly to their smartphone or tablet. Ultra-low latency audio allows for real-time assistive listening in live events and listening to real-time audio from muted TV monitors.
After downloading the WaveCAST Receiver app, simply follow the in-app tutorial to join the Wi-Fi network that is broadcasting WaveCAST audio, select the channel you want to hear and enjoy!

Pro : simple to use
Cons : poor audio quality, disconnects every 10 to 15 minutes from server and does not reconnect automatically
Discovers Audio Channel by IP ONLY
The latest update on apple app improved previous latency issues we had. However, the option of discovering channels by IP address has rendered automatic finding by name. It will only discover them if the IP address is entered. Giving out the wavecast server IP is not an option in our environment! Would like to know if this is being addressed in a future patch/update?
Works fine with new router
This app is just one part of an eco-system. You also need a WAVEcast transmitter (PP T55) and I ended up adding a standalone router ( Linksys MR7500 ) for the audio. So far it is working as expected but time will tell.
