Much better app with some disappointments
Fast loading on an iPad but to wait 20? Secs for some unrelated ad to play, I have never streamed anything. There use to be a section for comments. It is needed. For example: a stolen green motorcycle was stolen. No information if it had a tag, And seen beefing driven away. What direction? Route? What happen to facts?
Won’t even open anymore too many ads before
Last 6 months it just crashes when I try and open it, before it was chock full of ads. I moved to watching the news on pc only I managed to get a malware infection from one of the many ads, it’s not surprising though as there’s 10x more ads than content. After that malware infection I started using an adblocker, I know you rely on the ad revenue etc. but nobody should feel bad for you that people use adblockers, based on the number of have you add alone. You deserve to fail as a company based solely on Your cancerous amount of ads, and will continue to deserve it until you reduce the quantity.
Crashes
I’m not a fan of the ads. Especially the full page ad you have to wait for in the beginning. I realize you need the ad revenue but there are too many now. Also, the main reason for my review is the constant crashing. On both my iPhone 6 and my iPad2 mini. I’m beginning to just expect it. I browse through all the headlines first to see if it’ll be worth going back when (not if) it crashes. It Used to be my go to app for local news. Hopefully it gets fixed.
