The as always say comment down below, but there is no where to comment. This app needs major fixing, and fast. I only go to WDW, not Disney land and not Universal. I click on the filters at the top, and the articles about DL and universal don’t go away. This is super annoying. Please fix the app. It has good potential if things actually worked as they should.

I’m writing this as a review of the app alone, not the content in it. The app itself is horrendous. Clicking on notifications from the lock or Home Screen will bring you into the app, but not the specific story that you clicked on. I don’t know why this doesn’t work as it used to in the past. Additionally, if you click on a link to a previous story that is embedded in the current story (these links are very common), it just doesn’t work. You get taken to an endless loading screen instead. An example would be if a story is about a project construction update, and there’s a link to the concept art of said project. Instead of being brought to the original story featuring the concept art, nothing happens. The app is also riddled with ads to the point where it seems like there’s one after every paragraph in a story. I know this is how they make money from a free app, but it just seems excessive. Lastly, if a story is long, there’s an error where the story will just randomly stop and the rest of the page is just white. Even the ads don’t load. The app itself is just poorly designed and several basic features don’t work properly. All of these haven’t been issues in the past, but it seems like they’re more concerned about giving the app big visual updates without fixing the underlying issues that make it an unpolished and frustrating experience.

I am giving the app a 1 star review because they constantly post on the app, social media and their website universal news. Don’t call it Walt Disney world news today If it’s Orlando news and other parks not Disney owned. Anyone traveling outside of Florida is going to get very confused by this because of that. The people who work at wdwnt know it’s east for tourists to get tbeee parks confused yet they constantly report news like they are all Disney parks. What is the point of putting sections on your website to filter news and stories when you are adding universal news into it. Maybe let’s start adding gator land and sea world to the app. How about fun things to do in Miami next? I hear Nashville TN is also nice this time of year if you are not hiking in Colorado. Terrible news management in this app.
