Ratings and Reviews
I found a winner. I’ve bought so... many weather apps trying to be clever, fancy, slow UI, and show complex representations- that make it hard to get a sense of the weather at a glance. This app displays the crux of absolutely everything on a single page with NO vertical scrolling. It gives me verbal text of the incoming rain or snow, and how much. It gives me HOURLY weather for the next few hours in such a easy to understand way. Some apps give the graph in increments of 2 hours. In a click, I can see the days view. All the rest like the wind, and real feel is always on the bottom. That’s all I look at. I can know all this in maybe 5 seconds flat. The way it displays its temp graph for the hours and days is also very easy to get used to since it’s what we’ve more or less been seeing on the weather channels for years. This developer really nailed it.
Amazing app - Limited amount of saved locations
I love the way this app visualizes weather averages and forecasts, but I like having a lot of cities for reference when planning travel. It won’t let you add cities unless you delete one of your 10. Seems like an odd limitation for an app I paid $4 for. Tried to send them an email about it but the feedback button doesn’t work.
Edit: thank you for the response to my review! I guess I’m just a little bit too curious when searching for cities and their weather, interesting that <1% of your users have reached that limit. I really do love the app - hopefully with more users your costs will come down and more cities can be added ;)

Hey Steve, that email button was a bug so sorry, it's been fixed.
You're probably aware, but we buy weather data, for each city, for each refresh. So it's not feasible to offer unlimited cities and refreshes for $4. That data isn't cheap, and refreshes could be ~20 in a day. So with 10 cities, that's 200 a day! Multiplies fast!
<1% of our users have reached the 10 city limit. But those are however our most loving users. So we are considering another paid tier for even more data. I know you love Weather Line, and why wouldn't I want to give you more of it! But $4 wouldn't cover it, especially forever. I'm totally happy to just break even but I can't put my business in a place to lose increasingly large amounts of money, that go on forever.
I hope you understand. Your point is still valid. We should have an outlet for getting more cities and paying for that. We're working on it for 2.0. Thx for loving it Steve.
Nice presentation, unreliable data refresh
This app has the best (for me) representation of weather data amongst the 5+ that I’ve tried. However, I keep getting burned by out-of-date information being displayed by the app as current. For example, it’s currently 59 degrees where I am (based on other data sources and feel) but the app (widget and in-app) report a temperature of 49 degrees. Neither force restarting the app nor deleting and recreating my location within the app help. I started keeping the widgets for both this app and the default weather app next to each other as a warning for when things get out of sync. This has made me realize that the issue is more pervasive than I’d originally realized. I’m still rating highly because I think this is an iOS issue rather than something app specific. You really need to cross check two weather apps to see if you are getting up to date information.

Oct 22, 2018 and Nov 12, 2018: Hey Blandsberg, me again, I haven't heard from you and I still have never heard of this issue from anyone else. I'm confident in fact that this is not a thing. Please tweet or email me?
